I was told this location would be open until 1 pm today over the phone for me to pick up my furniture. I drove 55 minutes from Newmarket to find out they had closed an hour early. I'm very disappointed by the lack of professionalism and this definitely left a bad impression for me for my first purchase with mobilia. I was hoping to have my furniture for Christmas.. Now I won't have it for another week because they are closed for the holiday. Really disappointed.

A Very difficult place to find . There are NO signs on the road . Just small #'s. I'm surprised that an organization like MOBILIA fails on the last step before handing over the purchased goods to the purchaser. Mobility should do a paid study to confirm this if they don't believe this comment.

I would like to provide everyone my shopping experience with Mobilia/Designer Gallery. Please read carefully before you buy anything from this store. In December 2019, we entered the store in hopes of getting the best client service and products out there in the market. The sales rep we met is called Rand Al Sheikh. We discussed specifics and she advised us on all the furniture we liked and placed an order on that basis in December 2019. As per the sales rep, all the furniture should be delivered within 3 months. In February 2020, the first delivery arrived and thats when problems started. The first delivery we received had damaged items. As per the sales rep, they agreed to request an exchange for the items as soon as possible. We have been struggling back and forth with the sales rep, Customer Experience Supervisor (Arnold Ramoutar) and After Sales Service Representative (Vish Balchand). The real issue is that we send emails about problems that have been happening withour deliveries, but we are not receiving any real responses. The responses, we get are based on future hopes only and there are no viable solutions that were proposed. We hoped to finalize all the deliveries before asking for our right, which is to exchange any damaged items or receive credit for damaged items that are unexchangeable, because the store can not order anymore of those items (calling them out of stock items). We received our final delivery in September 2020, 6 months after the promised delivery time. On the other hand, we are still to this date, asking for exchange of products that are damaged, credit for damaged property while they are delivering and credit for the damaged items that are unexchangeable. The service was inexplicably horrible and below average in regards to the amount we paid and we will never be shopping here again. Please find pictures of some of the damaged products.

I got my mattress delivered several days ago. However, the delivery team refused to help me bring the mattress to my condo unit. They insisted that they can only leave the mattress outside of my building. The delivery team saw that, I tried to carry the mattress myself but couldn't. But they still refused to carry the mattress to my unit for me. Instead, they carried the mattress to the loading area of the building. I had to spend about half an hour to find someone to help, borrow a cart from property manager, stuff it in the elevator (that I already booked for delivery), etc. I don't feel my $70 + HST of delivery fee is worth it at all. I contacted Mobilia about this. They refunded me the delivery fee.

When I went to pick up my item, the warehouse associate refused to load my item in the car. He expected me to jump up a ramp that was a meter high, grab a huge pack and jump back down with my purchase. This is clearly written on their website: "Once all paperwork is in order, the associate will ask you to return to your vehicle, to open the trunk and to sit in your vehicle. Once you are in your vehicle, a warehouse associate whom will be wearing a mask will load the products into your vehicle." This is a clear lie. One young worker overheard our conversation and decided to come down and help me. I really don't know what the first guy's problem was. I don't know if this is the tactic he uses to get his co-workers to do the lifting for him, or if he had a particular prejudice against me. I bought from Ashley Furniture and the Brick and they all load the items in your car. I came back to return the item on Christmas Eve and the lady told me they close at 3:30 pm, only to find them closed at 12:00 pm. I drove all the way for nothing.

Do not buy from them unless you don't need delivery and installation. And prey that your furniture is in perfect condition. Or you will be end up in an endless nightmare. You will almost never able to speak to a staff over the phone. The only time you get to talk to them, they will promise your dream came true then when work needs to be done, nothing will be ever done.

No one ever picks up the call. Left voice messages multiple times as instructed, but received no responses. I’d rate zero stars for customer service if possible.

REALLY bad service. Had to call the Consumer Protection in Quebec and Ontario to fill a complain. First, difficult to speak to someone at the dispatch department. I had to call another department to be able to speak to someone to schedule a date for the delivery. Second, my bed had a defect. Had a to wait 2 months to get a call from Mobilia warehouse to after tell me that my bed is backorder. So they told me that I can change de bed, even though I bought the whole bedroom set. Third, they gave me a date for de delivery, they told me that I will receive a text message 48hours before de delivery. I haven't received anything. So I called the day before (still hard to speak to someone), and they told me that they lost 2 items for my delivery. Still at the warehouse in Montreal. I can say they have nice products, however the service is really bad. They don't take in consideration the situation of the costumer. All my coworkers told me they won't buy from Mobilia when they heard my story. It is really unfortunate.
