The store is not doing the requirements of COVID .there has no shield in front of the cashier desk and I have not notice any mask wearing. Always have to ask for the receipt. the prices of most products are higher than the other Persian stores although they are from the same company . But the bad behavior is something that lots of people don’t like to shop there.

M	Mike W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to buy some olives at this store. There was a sign that said that all the bulk olives were $1.99/100g. When I went to buy them, the guy I assume is the owner (bald guy) overcharged me, charging me $2.39/100g. I pointed this out to him and he told me to give him the olives back. He took the container, poured them back into the bin, gave me my money back, and would not sell them to me. He acted all offended that I had pointed out the fact that he'd overcharged me. He said the sign was the "old price" and ripped it off the display. What a joke. I wonder how many people he has overcharged.
C	Curious George on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Read ALL the 1 Star reviews of Mitra's Market on this thread and believe the complaints; they are exactly aligned with my experience. OWNER has mental problems (perhaps bipolar?) because his rudeness and aggressiveness towards his customers is so bad it's almost funny. I have heard him SHOUT at customers (me included). They don't give you an itemized receipt unless you ask for one...why is that? Because they overcharge you! Also, during a worldwide pandemic (virus is spread through airborne droplets) OWNER wears his mask half way down his face, with nose exposed...really weird.
M	Mike Regan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like Mitra's. It has a limited selection because of its size, but I doesn't feel like it has a limited selection. Fresh produce, really good frozen food selection, fresh hummus... a great local grocer that works hard to stay great. imho

There have been a few times with the staff and the owner have been abrupt and rude when I asked why I could not see the prices on the screen, but we love the hummus so much we looked over that. This past weekend we had bought the hummus and I went in there this morning to say that it was just off this time it was quite bland and didn’t taste the way it normally does and had started to go bad. I was very polite about it and started off the conversation by saying we absolutely love your hummus and have been coming here for years. I simply was wanting to exchange it for a fresh batch. The owner basically called me a liar saying I must’ve left it out. He barely made eye contact with me and was extremely rude. Never again no matter how good there hummus is I will definitely not be going back there it was shocking.
