About Mission Thrift Store

We convert donated goods into cash, and the net proceeds of all sales are sent to our joint ministry with Bible League Canada to fund international programs in over 40 countries worldwide.

Staff and volunteers believe there is a deeper purpose to everything in life, including shopping. We sell gently-used clothing and household items to value-conscious shoppers, who shop for deals they can feel good about.

Mission Thrift Store History

In the fall of 1988, two gentlemen from Chilliwack, BC joined the Bible League’s ministry tour to India. Throughout the tour they learned about the history, culture, religion and economic situation of the people there. They also visited new emerging Christian churches that were established as a result of the relationship between Bible League Canada and its Ministry partner. The trip left both men with a desire to help the people of India and on returning to Canada they became involved in discussions with the Director of Bible League Canada. They ultimately established a thrift store, donating the net revenue to Bible League Canada so Bibles could be distributed to the people of India. Since then, Mission Thrift Stores have grown to over 50 locations across the country.

BFM Foundation Canada

BFM Foundation Canada is a registered Canadian charity and is the bridge between Mission Thrift Store and Bible League Canada. It acts as a support centre for all Stores by providing business services and support, as well as manages capital projects to acquire, renovate and relocate stores.

A	Avery Kane on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I frequent this shop often, as I like to peruse the offerings and usually find something I didnt know I needed. My only gripe would be the hours of operation, but if you have some free time its a great shop with lots of hidden treasures!

L	Leigh C. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They make people use their hand sanitizer that is poorly labeled with no ingredients listed, so I'm not sure what's in it that caused hives and burning seconds after using it and the smell was strong enough to give me a respiratory reaction. If you refuse to use their hand sanitizer they make you leave. They say it's just alcohol but there are some sketchy, cheap hand sanitizers out there with irritants. Other than that, it's a thrift store. It might take some careful perusing to find the diamonds in the ruff. Managed to find a 4 set of real crystal wine glasses in new condition for just a $1. You have be quick to grab the good stuff and go frequently.

2	2 Baked Girls Potcast on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this thrift store! Very affordable furniture, friendly staff. I’ve bought some great items here over the years. I recently got a tv stand and a dresser for $55. I suggest you go at opening and if you see something you love, grab it. It’s often not there if you go back. We’ve procrastinated and missed out on some fantastic pieces and that can be heartbreaking lol. HIGHly recommend this place.
