As a visible trans woman, I've definitely felt uncomfortable and recieved inappropriate service, but have also had genuinely kind and welcoming service. Beer prices a little high. If I felt more comfortable in the space I'd consider menu options but I don't think I'll get there...
M	Mimi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was looking forward to a nice evening with drinks and dinner at this former favorite restaurant. However, nobody acknowledged us when we walked in, despite the restaurant only being at about 1/3 full. Tables were sticky and continued to be sticky even after we flagged someone down to wipe them. We had to go get our own drink menus from the bar because servers kept pretending we didn't exist. Finally got our mediocre, overpriced drinks. Wanted to order the delicious cheese plate I had the last time I visited this place but the menu had changed. Nothing interesting anymore. Wouldn't even be able to order if I'd wanted to anyways because the servers were still ignoring is. Finally manged to flag someone down to bring us the bill: $20 for two fairly ordinary bar rail drinks (one gin and tonic, one old fashioned). Didn't bother to finish the drinks. We just paid and left. Awful experience. Never coming back.
D	Darin Higgon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mixed opinion. Food was typical pub fair. Large drink and beer selection, local beers are a little overpriced. Have to say...we would have had a better experience except for a few things that left a sour taste... Ordered potato skins, menu said there were four, they delivered three. Order another pint of beer, they delivered a smaller 13oz instead, but I was still charged for the pint. Waitress obviously knew, and I accept that mistakes happen, but she didn’t fix it...I didn’t say anything about it. Also, one of our party was a non-drinker who ordered a couple re-fills of pop as we ate, which were charged for. A little surprised to see $12 for pop on the bill...we did assume refills were free, which is common, and hadn’t clarified beforehand. A few extra bucks don’t really matter to me and I am not being cheap, but the experience didn’t leave me feeling positive. I can see having a fun night here if you are looking for casual bar with music. They could have treated us better, it cost them a not so good review. Caution.

Every time it feels like such an inconvenience for the waiter to even seat me and my friends. The last time we sat down for about ten minutes and no one even gave us a menu or attended to us so we ended up just leaving

A bit of a dive-bar look and feel when empty and of a student bar on Friday-Saturday evening but this is a great place to go for a quick bite and a drink.
