D'une très grande générosité en temps, en explications, en échanges sur la poterie, d'une patience sans limite, variant les techniques, les défis et les explications pour s'adapter au rythme de ses étudiants, Chantal m'accompagne dans mes apprentissages depuis trois ans et je me trouve chanceuse de l'avoir trouvée! J'adore aussi son grand studio très lumineux, propre et super bien organisé : on se sent vraiment bien pour y travailler. Elle offre une variété de services qui s'adaptent bien à mes besoins en cours de route d'apprentissage, que ce soit pour l'achat d'argile, du temps atelier, la location d'équipement, un accompagnement dans ma pratique, des cours en studio (avant la pandémie!) et la cuisson de mes pièces. Elle m'accompagne avec beaucoup d'encouragement et de bons conseils. Je n'hésiterais pas à donner 6 étoiles sur 5!!! Chantal Parisien is an exceptional ceramist and teacher. Very generous in terms of time, explanations, exchanges on pottery, limitless patience, varying the techniques, the challenges and the explanations to adapt to the rhythm of her students, Chantal accompanies me in my learning for three years and I am lucky to have found it! I also love its large, very bright, clean and super well-organized studio: it feels really good to work there. She offers a variety of services that adapt well to my needs during the learning journey, whether for the purchase of clay, workshop time, equipment rental, support in my practice, studio classes (before the pandemic!) and the firing of my pieces. She accompanies me with a lot of encouragement and good advice. I would not hesitate to give 6 out of 5 stars !!!

Chantal est la personne qui possède ces deux atouts. Lors de ma première visite au studio, j’ai été impressionnée par l’ensoleillement et la propreté du local. Pour avoir fréquenté un autre atelier, je peux comparer et assurer que Chantal a équipé son atelier de façon exceptionnelle et tout cet équipement est à notre disposition. Chantal est très disponible pour nous conseiller même si nous ne suivons pas de cours (COVID oblige). Chantal offre aussi de nombreux services, vente d’argile, plusieurs glaçures, cuissons.....etc Pottery is a most rewarding artistic activity that seems simple but requires training and patience. Chantal is the person who has these two assets. On my first visit to the studio, I was impressed by the sunshine and the cleanliness of the room. Having attended another workshop, I can compare and assure that Chantal has equipped her workshop in an exceptional way and all this equipment is at our disposal. Chantal is very available to advise us even if we are not taking a course (COVID requires). Chantal also offers many services, sale of clay, several glazes, firing ..... etc.

Les cours sont super, on évolue bien et c'est super gratifiant de repartir avec une ou deux pièces faites de sa main I love the pottery lessons given by Naomie. She is very kind and very patient and believe me it takes! The lessons are great, we are progressing well and it is super rewarding to leave with one or two pieces made by hand

Il y a un bel atmosphère d'entraide. Chantal is a very patient and encouraging teacher despite our beginner mistakes. The workshop is super bright and it's really nice to work there. There is a nice atmosphere of mutual aid.

Chantal is a real potter and a real teacher. With generosity, she gives us access to the artist and the teacher. Equally inspiring is Naomi, another teacher. In addition, the workshop is bright, well organized, well maintained. We hesitate to talk about it; we would like to keep it for ourselves.

I took my first throwing classes there in August and I have returned almost every week since (restrictions permitting). I have learned so much about throwing, trimming, and glazing. I also purchase my clay here, so I'm sure it's the right kind for the kiln in the studio. Location is accessible and there is always parking available in the street.
