We ordered broth base soup with hot spicy , it’s not too spicy but a really good flavour. Also ordered special dishes like spicy beef, rice cake, bull frog... strongly recommend crispy fried pork strips and noodles with peas.

Amazing food. Every dish is seasoned well. The taste is authentic. The spicy chicken gizzards is a big surprise. The gizzards are processed correctly so it is crunchy and not hard. The taste is even elevated by adding crunchy celery and lotus root. MUST TRY!

Super spicy and tasty! Price is very reasonable. It’s worth waiting. It would be perfect if more napkins and cold water can be served on the table so we don’t have to ask waiters for many times.

First time trying this place, I'm not a big fan of this type of spicy dishes. But surprisingly it was better than expected. Def would come back

The experience that we had was not very pleased at all. The table was wiggling when we sat down, and no one came to us so we decided to change to the table that next to us, but it was wiggling as well. So we had to find the server and told her the issue, then she just put some chopsticks underneath?, we were speechless because it didn't help at all. We lived with it and didn't say anything, we are not piggy we thought after all the tables issue was not their fault. (The table was wobbing very badly and the water that the server gave to us spilled all around the table) Then, weirdly they didn't come and asked about the meal of the entire time, so we had to ask for napkins when we finished the meal, then the server threw the napkins on the table where all the water spilled on and we were not able to use them. We felt weirdly and not very happy about it. At the end of the meal we decided not to tip, we usually tip as long as we don't feel ignored even the food is not great. Not because of the table. The server had no smile of the entire time (I can tell even with the mask on). And we felt we were careless and ignored during the time. However, that's not the end. After I paid our meal, when we were about to leave the server came back to me and said I didn't tip, and I had to.(?!) I was shocked and speechless again and politely asked if it's mandatory to tip?( with the implicit tone) , Shockley again the server said yes …(???) And she typed in the amount (she didn't even let me type the amount ?) and hand over the machine to me and asked me to tap my card(???) I eventually paid the tip because I didn't want to be rude, but I felt insulted and was forced to do something that I didn't actually want to, that’s not a restaurant or tip culture supposed to be. We did't feel like we got appropriate services, and I felt it's not fair to others who work hard in this industry and who care their customers. It was a bad experience to us and we were very speechless and even insulted by the ridicules tip reason. It was a few bucks but probably the last money we wanted to spend in Van. It was my buddy first day in Van and I chose this restaurant to host but the whole afternoon was going weirdly due to the bad experience in this restaurant. I'll never go back to this restaurant where cost over $80 for two people. It's over priced, the food is not as good as they've mentioned online and not worth the money. Eighty dollers you definitely can have way better options in Van! I don't recommend this place! 服务非常差还逼迫我付小费！很荒唐！大家别来！！

This place was so good. Super mala flavor, great service and easy parking. Just one bowl and we were good for the rest of the day.

It was a nice first experience. Food was reasonably tasty. Prices are typical Richmond dining out prices, meaning expect to spend a small fortune to feel full. Thanks to government's reckless fiscal and monetary policies, inflation of 30-80% in dining out is commonplace and the new normal.
