★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the worst campground in the Thunder Bay Area which is extremely creepy. The guy that actually runs the place maintenance dude is straight from Friday the 13th movie.
He actually told reservations that they shouldn't deal with anybody coming from southern Ontario as they might catch something.
Do not stay here as it is a very creepy place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were travelling across Canada suffering from road rage and stress along with our children and dogs Thank God we stopped at Mirror Lake Resort Campground Shuniah Thunder Bay ON It was so very late and the office was closed a most generous and decent man approached us and gave us a beautiful site by the lake for the night. He started a fire for us.. Eventhough the weather was poor and drizzling rain he made our stay the best time we had throughout our entire journey. We had complimentary coffee and a muffin in the rustic Chalet and the children were given an amethyst souvenier from Eric.. We will certainly stop to visit them again:) tami mike and kids

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mirror Lake is a great camp ground filled with great people that you see every year you camp there plus all the new people you meet during the camp. Canada day weekends are amazing and may I say the city fireworks don't even come close to comparing to the shows three owners and campers put on here not to mention Halloween truck or treating for the kids just before closing weekend. All in all a very amazing fun camping experience for everyone families and all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The people that run the place are great and the seasonal campers are very friendly. Downside is you have to pay for showers and the closest washroom to us was an outhouse. I stayed for one night during my drive across Canada, so it worked out for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very friendly place. Both the owners and the other guests are exceptionally friendly. Lovely campground with lots of space. We were a family group of 1 RV, 1 screen tent, 2 sleeping tents. We were given two spots side by side and had lots of room. Lovely little beach. Very quiet. Would highly recommend this campsite. We were there to visit the mines and it was very close and convenient.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The mother and son duo are the most generous people I have ever met and they ensure your stay is the most confortable. All systems go at this location but a little bit of tender loving care is required to maintain competition with surrounding campgrounds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dorice is a Very nice owner. She could give you everything best she can, such as waterfront site, big pile of firewood for only $10 well worth than $30 nowhere else. The location is great, 35 mins to Sleeping Giant PP and to Thunder Bay, 15 minus to Diamond Willow Amethyst and 30 mins to Eagle Canyon.
