β β β β β Miriam is like an actorβs emotional surgeon. She has a gift and magical ability to scan an actor's body holistically and diagnose blockages or areas that need to be released and improved on. Not only physically, but seemingly, emotionally and psychologically. She knows how to hone in on an actor's inner emotional realm, pulls it out and helps infuse it into a performance so that it is authentic.
Miriam has helped me to go to those uncomfortable places, work through it and use it in a scene. With her training and method, I have gone from acting to reacting - from miming an emotion to actually experiencing an emotional reality in a scene. This has helped me to achieve more truthful performances and deliver my best work on the screen.

β β β β β As someone who has no acting experience or formal training, I have found that Miriamβs classes have brought me into the acting world. It began with a personal interview with Miriam in which I was reassured that I can be a good fit and this experience would be beneficial. From there, her classes offered a safe and supportive environment where Miriam guided us through exercises based on our skill levels. It is an amazing experience with incredible classmates. Even if I do not become an actor, the time I spend in her classes will have a permanent positive transformative effect on me.

β β β β β Miriam is an amazing teacher. You can truly tell that she has a never-ending passion for acting, and that she has decades of experience in both acting and teaching with her.
The class structure that she has in place creates consistent growth where you are always learning more and more. Even outside of class time, if you have a question about anything regarding acting, Miriam always has the answers and helps out.
I would also like to mention that even with the classes having to be online during COVID, Miriam has done an amazing job of adapting her classes to keep them smooth-running, with just as much getting done, and it really feels like I am getting the exact same value out of them.
I am very fortunate to have found Miriam's acting classes, and I strongly recommend her to anyone else that wants to gain a deep understanding of the craft that is usually very difficult to find.

β β β β β I have trained with Miriam for more than a year now and I have noticed a huge difference in my acting. Iβm able to relax more and feel much less self-conscious when I act in front of people whereas I was very nervous and wasnβt able to focus when I started. She can always tell if Iβm confused or struggling and then guides me towards a path where I understand and discover more thoroughly about the character. Her class is also very enjoyable and relaxing because each class feels like a time to spend with friends. It took me some time to understand some of her exercises and techniques, but as soon as I get the meaning of them, theyβre really helpful. I highly recommend training with her!

β β β β β Miriam is unreservedly generous with constructive feedback, her time and advice. She relentlessly encourages her students to push through discomfort, self consciousness, difficult emotions. She goes the extra mile to provide you with personalized classroom footage - even though it's so much extra effort over zoom. Her vast experience is evident in her wide ranging teaching methodologies. Miriam's methods for learning lines and natural delivery really do work wonders. I'm amazed at how well the classes work over Zoom and I am really looking forward to attending in person classes since I'm lucky to live in the area.
