β β β β β The new centre is so nice! It's around $8 for a drop in for thr gym and swimming no time limits. Staff is helpful and informative. The lockers are 0.25 and you get your quarter back when you are done. Swimming lanes are nice and big (early weekday mornings) a d for weekends they change it up a bit making more room for leisure swimming and hanging around (sat/sun) it gets busy in weekends around 12-2 but nothing too crazy from what I have seen! Love coming here to swim and workout before work!

β β β β β Even though the opening was delayed several times over the years, the facilities are truly incredible and worth the wait. The aquatic centre is miles better than the old one that was close to the library. Giant hot tubs and plenty of swimming lanes, as well as a sauna and cold tub. Very impressed by the quality of this active centre, and would recommend to others.

β β β β β It is a great facility. Probably the best in BC in almost all ways. Interesting layout split over multiple pools gives lots of room. The only problem with this facility is the bizarre oversight on the details.top one being you are not allowed to wear sandals on pool deck because they donβt have βshelvesβ? Itβs weird and shows a lack of accountability. 100 million dollar build but no one can get $50 shelves? Makes it a bit unsanitary and easy to get feet issues here. Second issue is the horrible showers. For the incredible facility it is a weird oversight, again on the details, that the showers are horrible. Half are broken, they have literally no water pressure, the doors are super heavy, way too heavy for older people, the showers are always dirty. It is just a weird oversight. Also a lot of the showers only have wand style shower heads, but they didnβt build holders for them? Weird. Like they ran out of money when they got to showers. Again, best facility in BC aside from these issues.

β β β β β Great staff, awesome facilities. Pool has multiple areas, slides, a rock wall, 2 hottubs, 1 cool pool, sauna and steam room. Fitness centre is spread out and well maintained. Good selection of equipment. Senior centre is comfortable and the cafeteria has great daily specials. Highly recommend this place for families, or anyone really!

β β β β β Yes,pool is lovely. The attendants and clerks and lifeguards are great and very helpful. Good pool to play in but not good for serious laps or excersise. But! It's very noisy and pools are small. It's very hard for older people to get out of some of the pools. Not enough stairs.The change rooms are a confusing maze. The showers are so weak it takes too long to rinse soap out of my long hair. The shower spigot is too, too close to the wall to get hair completely wet or rinsed. There is no place to sit while you change in the group area. ( some chairs but no bench) in private showers, clothes get wet as the clothes hangers are on the door that is in the shower area. Many hand held shower heads do not adjust for height as they are broken. Areas are very clean and freshly kept. Music is not to my taste and way too loud for conversation. I had hoped for a standard sized pool. Not the short cramped lanes that are there. The old pool had a way better set up, with 2 separate areas. Even the group showers were easier and better.

β β β β β I don't live in Richmond, but when we have time to go for a family swim I bring my kids here. By far the best pool in all of the lower mainland. The design is fun. Lots to do and the slides are epic. Pool is for all ages. UV treated water so feels better on the skin and eyes. Staff are always so friendly and helpful. Trust me, I drive 1 hour to come to this pool with my family. The change rooms are great as well. Well thought out and numerous. Water is hot!

β β β β β The hot water is lukewarm.. The guards continue to point out. The hot spring is the same 1m?β?, but one of the two places says that children cannot enter. Though it was new. Not as clean as I thought. No fun because there is only one slide. This is not funny anymore.

β β β β β It is the best aquatic centre in the lower mainland. It has several types of pool, steam room and fitness saloon. Facility is huge and it is so important for us, residents of Richmond. All the staff are helpful. Thanks for being here ?
