Mimico Creek Dental

Honestly I thought long and hard for a long time whether I should post this review or not but after seeing a different dentist today I decided to write this review of my experience with Invisalign at Mimico creek dental. I would also like to disclose I’m really not trying to write this review with malice. I’m just sharing my experience so people can base their decision of whether to get Invisalign at Mimico creek dental based on my experience. Here we go… I was extremely dissatisfied with my Invisalign experience with Dr.Mangat. When my Invisalign journey was near its end, I pointed out the same issue/ misalignment I saw in my teeth. Two of my teeth and one tooth in particular was stuck behind my tooth. It was so obvious and my bite felt awkward as well. I always pointed it out and he would gaslight me. He even went to the point of saying to me and in front of my boyfriend that my teeth are perfect and he even thinks he can win a dental award off of my case. (When I came back from my dental appointment with a different dentist today mentioning I need to get Invisalign all over again to my boyfriend he brought that comment back up). My refinement time frame was approximately a year and a half with him. Each appointment he only spent around 3 minutes with me and said he’ll handle the issue next appointment. So for a year and a half I was annoyed because the issue in my teeth alignment was so obvious and he never fixed the issue. I had to go back to him twice after my treatment ended because my retainers made my teeth shift/my treatment did not look finished ( also because my finished retainers didn’t fit me). My two teeth were still behind my tooth and noticeably pushing against each other. I also would like to point out during my full 2 and half year treatment only my first couple tray of aligners fit me properly. After that each retainer had clear gaps in them. I don’t understand how as a dentist you can clearly see that your patients retainers have gaps in them and not try to fix it earlier on. But he let my Invisalign treatment continue without even mentioning or fixing it once. When there were clear gaps. I never knew how much of a red flag that was until a year or so after I was done my treatment. The fact that he was willing to close my case knowing that it was not finished is unbelievable. I never skipped a day of wearing my retainers since I started my Invisalign journey and even now, years after I finished . Save your money and time and emotional heart ache. I will be getting another set of Invisalign with a different dentist and spending even more time and money. My dentist was surprised at the state of my misaligned “finished” teeth. I’ve gotten my teeth cleaned, wisdom teeth removed, pretty much all services done at Mimico creek dental. I was a loyal client. I didn’t give them problems. I always tried my best to be pleasant despite all my frustrations. And though I can say those treatments were fine with those specialists in dental cleaning and wisdom teeth removal- I cannot say the same for their Invisalign service. Find a different provider in that department. If I were to hypothetically be offered another refinement treatment by him I would rather pay full price at a new clinic.

I needed two fillings before Christmas so that I could enjoy all that good food! The Dental team were very kind, considerate, and manner full. They treated each other as well as the clients with the up most respect! I’ve made them my lifetime Dentist, and will share this with others! ❤️

I got my cleaning done here this weekend and Rohini booked me in with Fatima. The wait time was minimal, front staff very friendly and cleaning was as scheduled. Fatima (hygienist) was thorough with the cleaning and suggested some cleaning techniques/products as well. Given the convenience/ service standard, this is my go to clinic..

Staff are accommodating. Clean & well maintained place. Dentists are nice and do a thorough job making you feel at ease during the service. Just hard to find parking. They do offer 1hr free parking but you have to get a ticket at the meter & may have to wait a bit to get a spot. Overall, good location & great service.

Dr. Lee is FANTASTIC! she is so kind, skilled and professional. The entire experience at the clinic was wonderful. I had pain in my tooth and Taylor helped book me in (last minute) to get treated. So thankful to the whole team!

I haven't been to the dentist since the start of COVID. I only decided to come here after watching one of their videos on the safety precautions they are taking for patients. My cleaning experience was great, the hygienist really got in there. Looking forward to my Invisalign consultation as my hygienist showed me some convincing before and after photos.

Just wanted to leave a review for Taylor K, one of the patient care coordinators. She is so pleasant to speak to and addresses all of your concerns whether it be through phone or email in such a timely and concise manner. Thank you Taylor for making the experience so seamless, especially as there's so much planning sometimes when it comes to insurance/scheduling in for wisdom teeth extractions.

I loved my visits to Mimico creek dental. It’s within walking distance and conveniently located. They have been awesome with scheduling and visit management. Dr Lexi is my all time favourite dentist now. The good thing is they don’t rush you into anything. They provide the facts, advice and let you make a decision. Very pleasant experiences every visit.
