Not only did he explain about mortgages, he provided me with a thorough financial plan that I haven’t received from my current advisor. I can’t express my gratitude of how thankful I am to have met him at ScotiaBank. I will be bringing my investments to him so I can get my plan as we discussed. As a Professional in my field, I will also be referring my colleagues to Umer. You should have more advisors like him because Umer looks after you & consistently follows up with updates. Thank you Umer. I will absolutely be coming back.

There is absolutely no transparency whatsoever and they take forever to reply to your banking needs. When you finally are able to get an appointment, they leave you in the dark about important information on your account and investment funds. Can't recommend them based on a number of experiences.

However, since working with Umer Khalid (Senior Financial Advisor), he has been really helpful. He's taken the time to explain various products and service offerings to me in detail, and promptly responds to my questions. He seems very knowledgeable and I'm happy with the service he's provided.

The manager Fareba Ertebati is also a very unprofessional and a horrible human being who refuses to talk to customers about their issues. I signed up for an account with this HORRIBLE bank as part of a promotion. Luca made a mistake while signing me up and four months after, my partner received the bonus and I didn’t. Turns out Luca’s mistake made me ineligible to get the $450 bonus. I have been going back and forth for over a month to have this resolved but no one takes responsibility. So my partner and I both decided to close our accounts with them. They lied three times to my face about sending a dispute form, which their head office claims they never received. I am so glad I am with TD bank.
B	Brendan L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WORST BRANCH!! The CSR's are rude, and condescending. Manager wont speak with you unless you are a business customer. Take your business elsewhere, this branch is a JOKE. You can see by most reviews that there are issues here with the CSR's and Manager.
S	Steven Goetz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Scotiabank app can’t deposit my employers’ cheques, even though they are standard in the film industry. The ABM machines won’t accept them OR cash with any amount of fold (i.e. every bill in circulation). So that means to deposit money, I have to be there during business hours, but branches don’t open until 9:30 a.m. Like most of us who work for a living, that’s well after our day has begun. If your deposit technology can’t accept deposits, then maybe don’t replace your existing ABM system at every one of your locations. Switching banks in the new year. Absolute disregard for customers from your executive team.

Excessively long wait times, inept staff and just an overall poor customer experience is what you can expect when you visit here. I unfortunately live close by to this location, but would rather drive the distance to get at least some level of customer service.

Don't be upset at this team because you don't have as much money as you want, join the club - none of us do! Or don't blame the staff because you want something now, when you could have been proactive and likely avoided this mad rush. This team is one of the best and nicest I've ever worked with on various levels from assistance with new accounts, branch transfers, wires, you name it, especially Emma and her supporting manager - Thank you
