Mills Office Productivity

Disappointed is the best description! I called Mills Office Productivity to source out two desktop office phones. The customer service representative Gordon Fraser put me in touch with the technical department to describe what it was that I was looking for. I explained the needs, wants, and particulars of the phones that were required and a phone was sourced out. I was provided a quote and the price was reasonable so I went ahead and purchased the phones. Two weeks later the phones arrived via courier, they were unboxed and assembled only to find that the phones were not compatible with the office setup. The phones were small business "networking phones" with CAT5 communication ports when what I requested was regular phone jack or RJ11 communication ports. I call the customer service representative and explained the situation and that the phones are not the correct application and would need to be returned for the correct application. I was then told that I would not be able to return the "opened" phone and would not receive a refund/credit. Disappointed a questioned the return policy and was told by the customer service rep that I should have gone online and researched the phone details prior to purchase. Well..... If I wanted to research and purchase my own phones I would have gone to staples and done so, but I called an office supply vendor because that is there wheel house. I understand that there was a communication breakdown or some form of failure leading to the incorrect phones being sourced. All I wanted was a credit towards the correct phones for the application. I have since returned both phones (paid for the courier cost) and have only received a credit for ONE phone only. I called the customer service rep Gordon Fraser and I am now getting the run around. Very disappointed, I do not recommend Mills Office Productivity based on there return policy and lack of customer service.
