★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been coming to Milano for years. Switching between their Commercial Drive, Gastown & W 8th location; their coffee have always been consistently good.
Try their “Stove Top” when you get a chance. It’s one of my favourite. It’s a concoction consisting of a long shot espresso, half & half cream sweeten with liquid gold (brown sugar & honey). Not overly sweet when you order a large. A little bit sweeter if you have it as a medium size.
Staff are always friendly. All the safety protocols are in place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not only does Milano have amazing coffee, they have great customer service. Their Gastown location didn't have a coffee I wanted. Called their W 8th location and they were able to add what I wanted to a shipment scheduled for later that day. I didn't give them my phone number but less than 2 hours later, the Gastown location called to say my order had arrived.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great coffee and hot tea. Really enjoyed the provolone and salami sandwich. Muffin was bought in, and not the best. Great atmosphere, and patio with view over the park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their latte is good except I ordered a flat white. Their card machine is down today thus probably put a lot of stress on the staff and got the orders wrong.
Pretty chilly here as well. I don't think the heaters are switched on.
I am sure they produce good beans just the dine in experience is not quite there yet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a neighborhood Gem! Love this place! Live music on Sunday too! They have great coffee and tea! My hubby loves their coffee, so smooth! I like their London Fog. Always a great place to be with friends and family!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the coffee HATE the customer service. Common dude, you work in a coffee shop, being polite, curious and assisting your customers. Pretty simple. You have your favourites, that's cool but why do they come at the cost of your other customers. I see why this cafe is considered Vancouver's most pompous, it's the culture you cultivate. Thanks for yet another disappointing interactions. Thankfully there are more cafes in the area that enjoy my money paying their wages and my loyalties.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The coffee taste was okay but not great. Cortado’s temperature was well below 60-70 degree sweet spot. The atmosphere was cozy and the jazz music was great, however there was a strong food and pepperoni smell. I usually enjoy smelling coffee in the air specially when the roasting is done in house.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coffee was excellent! I waited a couple of minutes for it though. I just went in for a to-go coffee, but I am definitely coming back to have breakfast there. Place looks really good to enjoy a meal.
