They were excellent during the birth providing excellent coaching and listening to my needs. The postpartum care is where they really stand out. They visited my home four out of seven days the week after the birth to check on me and my baby and provided me with resources and information when we were having trouble feeding her. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great birth experience.

My appointments were always on time and thorough, did not feel rushed, and I was able to build a great relationship with the midwives and student on Team 2. After my daughter was born and needed to stay for monitoring, the midwives worked with the nurses and doctors at Markham Stouffville Hospital to ensure we were comfortable with what was happening. I look forward to (hopefully!) getting cared for by the Midwives of Durham for my next pregnancy.

The home visit after my baby arrived were such a blessing. I had a lot of breastfeeding struggles, so having the extra support at home helped be through this happy, overwhelming transition into motherhood. I would recommend Durham Midwives!

From the moment we met our team we felt very comfortable, they answered all of our questions and we felt like we were in great hands. This is all because of the service Markham midwives has given me. I never imagined that I could face a normal delivery but they made it possible. They were on toes during the delivery and after the delivery also they always made sure that I and baby are doing fine and used to always keep a check. Definitely for my next baby I will opt for Markham midwives. ?? Very grateful and happy with the service they offer.

Both go out of their way to inform you , educate you, provide you with care and answer your questions thoroughly. Very professional and knowledgeable people. Both my husband and I felt comfortable addressing all our concerns with them. I 100% recommend these midwives to anyone. Sad to not have their services anymore as my baby is past 6 weeks old. Will definitely return for future pregnancy(ies).

The midwives were warm, friendly and respectful during all visits. Appointments were never rushed and they happily answered any questions I had. I especially want to recognize the midwife who was present during my delivery - Isabel was amazing and I'm eternally grateful for the care she provided me during my delivery.
