My little senior pup, Thor, is mostly deaf, partially blind & came from a puppy mill. But he fell in love with Marjanna immediately. She curved her training to make it appropriate to Thor's abilities. He thrived with her instructions & I cannot rave enough about how much I was able to take away. Thor & I now communicate very well & have a fun relationship thanks to Marjanna's help. I highly recommend everyone with a dog of any size, any ability (or disability) do at least one class with Middle Earth Canine Academy. You will not be disappointed.

Both our dogs (Sadie, and Lucy) have come leaps and bounds in the last 8 sessions we've spent working with Marjanna. Before her help, our Sadie was pulling at the leash, chasing cars, and just having a difficult time controlling her energy. None of that is true any more, in fact just after she graduated I took Sadie on a camping trip where she was so well behaved, I was able to leave her off leash the entire time. I was blown away. Not only are Sadie and Lucy more well behaved, our bonds with them have only gotten stronger, we understand more about dog language, how to interact with our pups, and how understand what they might be trying to tell us. We can't thank you enough for your wonderful service Marjanna! You were patient, kind, and understanding. You gave us the tools to help guide our pups, and helped us build a healthy foundation to one of the most rewarding, and amazingly fulfilling relationships in life (bonding with animals). Me and my wife couldn't be happier with our time at the Middle Earth Canine Academy, and won't hesitate to use Marjannas services in the future, or recommend her to anyone. I said it before, and I'll say it again: Simply amazing!!! ?

We have tried other trainers and "group lessons" never worked well for us as you only get partial attention to your dog and it's needs. We found the private lessons affordable and MUCH more effective. The stone house she teaches in is really nice too!

From the first lesson in “Puppy Kindergarten”, I was amazed with how she could get him to listen and do as he was instructed. I was in awe and told her she was a “dog whisperer”! Through the 8 weeks of Puppy Kindergarten, Toby learned to listen and obey as much as a rambunctious puppy could. Marjanna always had control of him and he learned very quickly. Toby was always happy to see Marjanna and was excited to impress her with how well he could behave himself, treats were always accepted gladly! Toby went on to finishing 8 weeks of “Dog Obedience” and at 6 months of age now, I have a sweet little boy who does what is expected of him (most of the time) and loves to learn new commands and tricks to please us. I can’t thank Marjanna enough for her work with Toby. I would not have such a sweet, well behaved puppy if not for her. Marjanna is knowledgeable, presents with a calm demeanour which also helps keep a puppy calm, is passionate about her work and obviously loves dogs. Toby responded so well to her and did his best to do all he was asked to. I also leaned how to be a good dog owner as the onus also lies with me to help Toby be the best he can be. If you want a well trained dog, I would highly recommend taking courses with Marjanna. It is well worth the effort! Thank you again Marjanna for helping Toby get a good start in his life.

We came to her when Gizmo was just a puppy and I was a somewhat clueless owner. We completed both the puppy training and obedience class and now we have such an amazingly behaved young dog. On top of all that, Gizmo absolutely loved the classes. Highly recommend
