They successfully changed my oil and had good customer service. They only took 5 hours to do an oil change ?. I’m now a nice shade of purple from being sun burnt while waiting for them. They said they took so longer because they were doing quotes for me of the things wrong with my van, which was somewhat helpful of them and I appreciate the attention to detail but I also knew most of those issues already and couldn’t help feeling like they were trying to upsell me. They didn’t leave my window cracked so my van was like a sauna when returned to me, so paired well with my heat stroke and sun burn, so I am officially ready for a nap. I am glad to know there’s a leak but the $3k quote I got from them for fixing the other things that are all minor leads me to believe they must be paid on commission or something. I appreciate them but not sure how to feel about the quote lol.

Had to get a pulley replaced, and because of circumstances, I was unable to do it on my own. Price was a little steep for the installation of a small plastic part (and new belt I suppose) but I didn't have much other option. After everything was done, I noticed my belt came off again, I returned, and the mechanic dropped what he was doing to see what happened. There wasn't much of a fix so he realigned it and sent me on my way, about 20 mins later I get a call and the mechanic had an idea to keep my belt aligned and asked to come back down. He tightened up my assembly free of charge and we've been good since. The dudes down there are super cool and would absolutely go there again. Thanks for thinking of me long after I had paid the initial bill.

I went to have my check engine light checked as well as the EPC light recently lit at Midas. The inspection cost me $175 to only know the nature of the light codes, which is extremely expensive. Subsequently, they gave me an estimate of the repairs so that the vehicle was in order. The bill went up to $3,000. Since the current value of my vehicle was similar to the total estimate, I informed Midas that I was not going to carry out the repairs and was going to carry the car to the tame. When I picked up my vehicle, an employee working at Midas went out to offer to refund me the $175 I had paid for the inspection and that in exchange, I gave him my car because I carry it to the wreckers anyway. I found this totally inappropriate and it lacked professionalism. Finding this situation rather unusual and strange, I decided to go for an inspection elsewhere since it sounded like a scam. After the inspection at the 2nd garage, the costs had decreased to $800 to have my car repaired. Midas is a company that clearly lacks honesty and professionalism. I especially don’t recommend. They wanted to take profit of the situation. This is totally inacceptable.

Expensive and poor service. I asked if they checked the balance on tires already on rims and was told they did. First trip out in the highway I had a bit of a shudder so I called and was told they didn’t check the balance. I returned and they charged me an additional $18 per tire, keep in mind it wasn’t a balancing but a balancing check, I already paid $44.00 for the swap previously. Likely 3 of the tires were fine and took 15 seconds to check. So a balance check and install of summer tires already on rims cost me $116 before tax? Additionally for those who run summers and winters on all wheel or front wheel drive the practice of putting best tread on rear must end. Fronts wear faster on every vehicle I’ve ever owned that wasn’t rear wheel drive. Midas cost me extra time and money. I expect better. The brake work they did for me was same price as the dealership so the days of reasonable pricing from this company are gone. Maybe it’s a Covid thing? I haven’t checked pricing with some of their other competitors but before I take my vehicle anywhere in the future I’ll get firm commitments on price.

Excellent customer service. I went to get my car repaired today and I was very pleased. Fair prices and they are transparent with the work that they do. I will be using their services for any future car issues. Thank you for all the work that you do!

I honestly was a little discouraged when I first saw the average rating of this auto shop but just goes to show that sometimes you can’t judge a place by their Google reviews! I had nothing short of a wonderful experience with the staff at Midas - they were fair, reasonable, and super accomodating. They always gave me a quote that made sure I got the cheapest option - their level of skill also comforted me and I knew my car was in safe hands. Would recommend their services!

I made an appointment to bring my vehicle in for an oil change today. I showed up a few minutes early and was told it would be "about 2 hours". I returned back after two hours to find they hadn't even looked at it. I was told it would be "about another 30 min" to which I said no thanks and left. If your shop is THAT far behind you should know at drop off or at the very least call the customer BEFORE the two hour period and say it taking longer. Total waste of 2 hours of my time. Would not go back and would NOT recommend. *edit to this. I was sent a survey from corporate regarding this incident and sent them all this same info. To date neither the Midas in town or their corporate office has EVER reached out to apologize or come to any resolution. Clearly they don’t care about customer care or retention.

If they don't like your vehicle or don't want to work on it they will just over quote you hard! Had a $3600+ quote on a vehicle that we just bought from the ER doctor here in town that gave us every receipt from oil changes down to when the transmission was replaced and when the warranty expires, ps there's still 3 more years. Brought to another shop and had the work done for less than a third of the cost.
