K	Kristen Marielle on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OIL LEAKED ALL OVER MY ENGINE AND DRIVEWAY AFTER MY OIL CHANGE. THEY DID NOT CLEAN THE ENGINE, DID NO INSPECTION. TOLD ME TO BUY CLEANER MYSELF FOR MY DRIVEWAY. DID NOT REATTACH MY SKID PLATE BOLTS.
S	Sandra Baird on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had front brake pads and rotors replaced and brake lines bleed. Paid and picked up - brakes were worse then before. Went back. Bleed the brakes again. Drove it to south Edmonton. Brakes still really bad. Took it to Midas south Edmonton and they said air in the lines brakes will fail don’t drive it. If you want your brakes fixed don’t go to St Albert Midas.
N	Norman Buxton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my vehicle in for a continuous squealing noise and I explained that it felt like the brakes were a bit sticky and I felt the noise may have been because of that. They misdiagnosed the issue and then charged me almost $800 to fix it...which was $150 more than they had quoted. Because the issue was misdiagnosed, I still had the same squealing noise. Midas then felt like my vehicle needed a front brake service to fix the issue and offered to do it for free as compensation. Shawn was dismissive when I picked up the car after the service. He provided no work order to show what had been done and was very short on explaining the work. He simply gave me back my key and said that if the squealing noise continued, it is probably due to defective parts and not their fault. In the end, the squealing noise is better but not gone completely. So I ended up paying almost $800, losing the use of my vehicle for 2 days, and the issue still isn't completely fixed. Very poor service and definitely NOT recommended.

Returned the next day and sat for over 2 hours, and they still couldn’t fit me in. Took it to another shop and payed another $90 to get my tires re-balanced. The technicians actually laughed at how many weights were used, and how much each tire was out of balance. I will never return. Terrible service!

The last two times I have gone for a simple oil change, the “reception” is frankly rude and unwelcoming. Appointments were made to accommodate a busy schedule, and twice now excuses were made immediately upon arrival that it would take longer. The employee argued the point and questioned when my other appointment was. My Midas appointment was set for 8:00 and none of the mechanics were there when I arrived. I was not out if there until 9:25. I don’t need a flowery reception, but I do expect a professional one and to be provided at the very least a polite greeting. At least the oil change special was unbeatable for price, just unfortunate that going there is unpleasant.
