★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great customer service from the assistant manager Tammy, was my third time in trying to return an item that I didn’t have a receipt for, the first two times were unsuccessful as I wasn’t told of the how to get my receipt through customer service, she went above and beyond to phone customer service and help me get the receipt and return the items that I no longer needed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is really hit and miss, sure they have coupons and discounts and in theory a good selection of crafts and art supplies but their stock is hit or miss. The shelves are quite often empty in the art section and other things are very very expensive compared to other places such as cheap dollar store frames they might want $40 for and other things such as paints can be good prices or really expensive so just shop around. I almost always shop at my local art supplies store (Opus) but occasionally get the odd thing here from here, depending on what it is.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't know what it is about Michaels but I start to fall asleep whenever I'm here, maybe I get overwhelmed with all the craft stuff. Paying usually takes quite a while because there is usually only 1 or 2 people on till. Most items can be found cheaper elsewhere, but they do have a really large selection so if your into crafting it's a good one stop shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love Michael's, only thing is the oil paint brush selection was pretty poor. I understand production is down. Very happy with my paint so far, hope more brushes come on soon, good coupons when I can get there as Michael's is 3hr drive from me

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was headed to visit but decided not to after encountering the homeless junkies in the parking lot by the open and recently rummaged through garbage bin.
The initial thoughts of giving coffee vs. backing over the shopping carts full off dirty clothes and stolen swag was immediately overcome by the view of 2 parents steering their 5 young children away from the area.
The parents had to escort their children across a busy road to avoid beggars, when they should have been enjoying the air and talking with their kids about leaves changing colours for the winter.
When I arrived, a few scattered, one hid behind stock at Home Depot, and another sat smoking drugs between nods.
A disgusting property that I will not visit simply due to this ever expanding plague. This includes the neighboring PetSmart and Home Depot.

They have trendy decor, endless craft supplies, and the jewelry making section is crazy! They have hundreds of beads to choose from.
My only issue is with the prices, i cannot afford to shop there more than once or twice a year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was super helpful and kind, especially considering the stress of the time of year. I'd miss-read a discount sign, and they were still nice enough to give me the deal even though it was completely my bad. Love the kit I got.
They have a good selection and lots of different product types. They're definitely a bit more on the expensive side, but I love shopping here ?
