Shopping space is pretty big and comfortable. Price is high, however you can find some specific items that are not available at other places. Credit cards accepted. Check out time is ok. Employees are nice and friendly. Public washroom available. Located inside Meadowtown Centre. Free parking lot available. Short walking distance to bus stops.

My favorite place for crafts. The pricing is becoming outrageous, so it's becoming hard to get fun things for children. Stuff on clearance after holidays is always great.

Good selection of craft supplies. The kids love coming here to find their next project, and always find something neat. The staff is always helpful, and the store is really well kept.

Staff was kind and helpful. Lots of selection. I'm glad the paint is separated into levels 1-3 so you know if it's craft, artist or pro, but I wish there was something telling me the difference. Overall enjoyed my experience here.

I seldom write negative reviews, but after being disappointed twice by the customer service at this location, I felt compelled to share. Younger staff at this location are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! Unfortunately, I have experienced extremely poor customer service from an older staff member here. I called a few days ago to inquire about restocking products at this store and the woman on the phone told me she had no idea when shipments would come in. I called another location and they were able to provide me with the info I was looking for right away. Tonight, I went in to pickup a simple online order. The lady told me it wasn't ready and I would have to come back when it was. I asked her if there was any chance they would be willing to fulfill the order in the next 5-45 mins as the store only had 1 other customer in it; I was willing to wait or even come back.She shrugged and said she didn't know and that I should come back when I get an email. I could literally see the products I had paid for and even offered to guide her to them so she could fill the order, but she refused and brushed me off. Not being able to give customers a clear, concise answer or provide basic customer service reflects poorly on training here. There was absolutely no effort made to check on the status of the order (she seemed unfamiliar with the iPad program) or even check in with another associate. In the past 2 weeks I have given Michaels $800+ of business and placed multiple online orders for pickup. I've always received excellent customer service from Michael's associates at other locations and have respected their efforts and flexibility. Avoid this location if you don't want to deal with incompetency from employees!!

Large store, plenty of parking, friendly place. Just one thing, I thought a lot of the fake plants looked so fake and cheap yet they seemed a bit overpriced. Lots if great imitation flowers like roses and other flowering stems. A lot of cheap looking stuff in that area. BUT, the rest of the store is quite amazing with everything anyone would want for crafts and ideas. They have seasonal things, lots of ideas and an amazing array of crafty things for jewelery and other projects. Picture framing a plus. Great store except for most of the fake greenery. I know because I have seen better at similar prices elsewhere. It's a great store for all kinds of art supplies.

Lovely sales associates. I appreciate a good sale, and this store has a good one every now and then. I just wish there was a location closer to home.

Michaels is by far my favourite place to shop!! I’m a crafter do you can imagine how much I buy! The prices are great and the variety of things for all my projects like card making, stamps, ink pads , cake and cookie decorating supplies ,scrap booking and even crotchet supplies for baby blankets, and stuffed snowmen. Christmas greenery, glitter, mod lodge, paint pens ,etc etc I highly recommend getting all your decorating or craft supplies from Michaels. They usually have quite a few sales going on. I have posted only a few pictures of things made from things purchased from Michaels.
