★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My stay here was worth more than 5 stars. Because of a medical emergency I had to stay for 3 weeks. The rooms are clean, the house is absolutly beautiful and quiet. Great parking. Close to everything I needed. The price was amazing! Michael was so accommodating, he went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. Definitely recommend!

Whole experience was bad from talking to the host(something really off about the guy) to waiting outside in the rain for minutes just to get into the place. The common area looked cleaned although I didnt look hard or use the space at all.
My room was dirty, just one of the worst renovation jobs ive seen sloppy paint & everything. Wobbly desk which had clearly been hit/rubbed against the wall many times, right behind your pillow/beside your face is duct tape and screws barely holding the headboard together which shakes like crazy and in the middle of the room without an outlet near is a fan full of dust ?. I couldn't tell if the sheets were cleaned or not but they weren't dirty so I hope they were at least changed.
Big part of my choice to stay here was the bathtub after walking 20km+ a day past few days but the bathroom was filthy & I had to clean the tub(which had weeks of buildup) with one of the hand towels provided & no shower towel provided just 2 dish towels.
Host called after booking for a damage deposit which is fine but took 2 days and my asking multiple times to get it back so hopefully you don't mind going without your money for awhile & having to wonder if your being scammed - more than you already were.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Why have I not found this place earlier. I came out to see friends for Thanksgiving and took a chance when I booked having usually stayed in the standard hotel. I was pleasantly surprised and I loved it. My room was clean and tidy. It was quiet which for being next to 108 is a wonder. I would stay here again for sure. The price was fantastic and it was so easy to book. I'd highly recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looks okay but it is essentially a rooming house. There was a "tenant" screaming and banging on doors all evening. I called the owner twice and he never came to address it. They finally stopped and continued the drunk arguing inside the adjacent room that had paper thin walls so every single word could be heard until about 4am. The bathroom had someone else's hair all over, empty product bottles and could use some cleaning. But the worst part was the bed. It had a huge dip in the middle and you could feel the springs. My son preferred the floor.
Overall this place is an expensive hostel and is not worth almost $200 a night!!
