★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty sure it’s illegal to preach about religion in public but these guys don’t seem to mind coming to my apartment complex with a mic, loudly preaching about Jesus ( when I suffer from religious trauma now I have to listen to this in my own home ) without a single care to the residents of the tenants here especially those who work nights!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questionable conduct. Bypassing parents by handing flyers to kids in play grounds. Said flyers only have a phonenumber and no address provided. Most activities take place at Christian Life Assembly in Langly. I have Christian beliefs, but I do not like how sneaky they are in trying to trick kids into going. Their flyers promote gaming and candy but say nothing of the Christianism they are trying to spread. People should have the choice to go on their own accord, not be manipulated with promises of candies and games.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My child got home today with a flier for a ConnXtion event with free transportation and promises of lots of candy. There's no sign of an address or organization name and I couldn't find anything online about this ConnXtion thing. So I called the only phone number listed on the flier only to learn that this event is hosted by Metro Kids. This kind of sneakiness gives me nothing but red flags.
Looking at the Metro Kids' website, in their 'about us' section, they state that they are "committed to teaching relevant Biblical truths" which is fine for Christian families and others who want their child to learn from the bible. However, it's not ok to lure children in with candy and games, and go behind the parents' backs to indoctrinate our kids with their own beliefs. This kind of deceitful manipulation is not what I would expect from a charity organization...
I'm thinking about my neighbours of other religions who have kids the same age as my own. I don't think they would be happy to know that the Metro Kids Society is brainwashing their children with beliefs other than the ones they practice.
