m	marion bco on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a provider with It's A Child"s World for seven years, and cared for approx. 20 different children . I love working with this agency. They make sure that I have all the proper paperwork I need to fill out for the government, and take care of handling the monies between myself and the parents. My supervisor does a through spot check each month plus an announced visit. They provide mandatory in-service education throughout the year, a yearly conference, A Santa's breakfast, provider Recognition events, and are available to answer any questions I have,or to provide a listening ear. They have a monthly newsletter, toys for me sign out if needed and provide excellent support to enable me to do my best job with confidence. My supervisor and the office staff are approachable, cheerful, and professional. It takes more than a Day home to help parents raise a child - it takes a team! If you are looking for a Day home for your child, or looking for a childcare agency to work with - I would encourage you to look at It's A Child's World - they are great to work with, resolve any problems quickly, and have a history of providing great Day homes throughout the city.
M	Monique Pillay on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have found this agency to be very unethical, unprofessional and engaging in unfair and fraudulent practices. There were serious issues with two different providers homes and the issues were glossed over by the agency (issues such as verbal abuse, lack of proper food, unsafe practices, blatant dishonesty). I chose to leave the agency and asked for a statement of my account. The statement that they gave me was incorrect. I tried on several occasions to have it corrected and they refused to even look into it. They submitted incorrect hours, held back payment to the providers and kept the full payments from both myself and overpayment from subsidy. I was told that they have never made an accounting error in the 30 years they have been in business. I guess if you intentionally prosper from defrauding, deceiving and robbing the government and low income parents, it's shouldn't be called accounting errors, it's reprehensible business practices.

I can call at any time with questions or concerns and they are more than willing to help. I have met several of their providers through various functions. They have always been very professional. Each provider that I have met has shown a genuine interest for the children in her care. I would recommend this agency and it's providers to anyone who is looking for quality care for their children.

We have been with Jane for over a year and 1/2 and it has been such a blessing to find someone so loving/ clean/organized/ and full of energy! My daughter has enjoyed and continues to enjoy the daily walks/crafts/baking that she does weekly. My child was a part of Jane's Dayhome when the other review was written and all I must say is that there are two sides to the story and highly encourage you to talk to Jane and the agency about it. As per my review for the agency I am not overly thrilled about it. I do find that they tend to be disorganized and I have to keep a close record of my fees and time sheets . I choose not to leave the agency because I do not want to leave Jane. I know how hard it is to find someone to trust your child with and only wished that I had found Jane a lot sooner to watch my other two kids when they were young. Again, I give Jane 5 stars and the agency 3 stars.
