★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our dishwasher was old and wasn't worth fixing. We live in Tofino, tried our Coop, unfortunately theirs did not fit, and we needed one for our rental asap. So drove to Port and stopped in at Merit. They had a mid grade model that was perfect and they loaded the dishwasher then and there!! Great service and great price. They also pointed out that the newer models, may need a new type of plumbing fixture, If I did not need this fixture no problem to return it.
**Did not, have to order a dishwasher and wait for it to come in.
Very happy, great service. Sorry I cannot recall everyone's names, who helped me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great customer service. Very knowledgeable about the products in store. Great deals, spouse and I shopped around town at the other furniture shops and seen some of the same furniture at the other stores for a couple hundred dollars more! ( One mattress we looked at we seen later at The Brick for TWICE the price!) Kinder was great and willing to make a deal, and took good care of us while we were there. Will definatly be back soon! We will be renovating and will need some new appliances.

Update: the sofa we bought didn't fit through our door, the delivery guys tried for 30mins then had to take it back, the shop was good with us picking a different sofa and helped us pick one that will fit! Great customer service !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I literally canceled an order from another furniture store on the promise that merit would have my couches in before Christmas. This was in the first week of November. I'm disappointed that the staff told me that they could see that the items were in stock and promised 2 of the 3 items would be delivered to my house before Christmas. I understand covid throws a wrench into things but prefer people would just be honest. I would have just looked for something else had I known it was going to take this long to get my order.
Update- my couches arrived about 3.5 months after promised. I really like the couches. Merit delivered them the same day they arrived to the store and they took my old couches away. Service was good aside from their un kept promises. With the pandemic take their "promised" delivery dates of stock with a grain of salt.

Paid what my budget would allow and he delivered and took the old stuff away. That’s shopping locally and getting results! Thanks will shop there again.
