★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I shop here all the time due to the convenience and friendly service, and will continue to do so, however, it’s pretty misleading how they don’t label previously frozen items as such. For example, racks of lamb are labelled as grass-fed, free range, etc but no mention that they were previously frozen. From an ethics standpoint, it’s rude not to tell customers because it poses a safety issue. I bought racks many times before an employee told me they were all frozen. Seems a strange point to omit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I regularly shop at the Meridian Meats located at Ralph's farm market in Langley. I decided to check out this location to see how different it is. It is very different. It is a smaller store front, which is what I expected. What I didn't expect is the confusing shopping experience.
You walk in the door and you're immediately greeted by staff and asked if you need help. The place was unfortunately busy and people are just standing around (either waiting for product, waiting to pay, or waiting to order). We could barely move around in there and there is no flow of traffic - so you are literally just waiting for people to slowly move out of the way. It didn't make for a fun shopping experience. I left with nothing because I didn't have an opportunity to really see what they have. I think the store could manage the customers a little better. Perhaps limit the amount of customers (even during non-COVID times). That way we can actually take a look at their display case without 10 people just standing there blocking it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried Meridian Meats for the first time tonight, and it was amazing! They’ve got a great selection of meats and the burgers I bought tonight were the best I’ve ever had. The staff there are excellent and very friendly, and they have various other items like candy, chocolate, pop, and much more. Looking forward to going back soon!
