★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t waste your money!
I went for a very simple dentistry procedure but ended up with disfigurement of my teeth. He’s practically changed the shape of my mouth!
Dr. Motahed sr. changed everything for the worst. My upper teeth got too short with a couple of chips he created here and there, a bleeding tooth cut in half and many more discomforts.
When I went back a few days later, he did nothing to correct his mishandling of my teeth and mouth and had go elsewhere and pay thousands, only to get rid of that broken bleeding tooth.
My worst nightmare!

I will be coming back for a regular cleaning and definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get great work done for affordable prices. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As someone with pretty high anxiety when it comes to dentistry, my experience here was the most relaxed experience I've ever had at any dental center. Dr. Lu gave me excellent, compassionate, gentle care and I felt very grateful to finally have a dentist I can trust. Front desk staff are also wonderful and kind, and my hygienist was also fantastic. Thank you all so much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dentist Dennis was professional at making new fillings for me. She heard me carefully before of the intervention when I explained her I was afraid about the use of anesthetic; we planned together how the procedure could be done using as less as possible anesthetic, and she did so. I left the dentist place happy and with 3 new fillings. So this deserves 5 stars :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cannot recommend Mercato & particularly Dr Mottahed enough. I am a nervous patient and he always puts me at complete ease. I never feel pressured into any course of treatment and genuinely feel that he has the patients' best interest at heart (unlike experiences I've had with other dentists in Vancouver, where I felt that the priority was them charging as much to my benefits policy as they could...). All of the reception staff and hygienists at this dental centre are lovely, couldn't ask for better!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m so grateful for Mercato Dental Centre. I called them today (Saturday) having woke up from a night shift with a painful dental issue. I wasn’t a patient of theirs before today. From the moment a person kindly picked up the phone, listened to my concerns, and did everything in their power to assist me to a few hours later when I was greeted by name and brought in to the chair. I was treated professionally, respectfully, and with consideration for the complicating factor that I’m pregnant. Dr. Lu took the time to thoroughly assess the issue and made a comprehensive plan with me to fix it. Wonderful experience!
