★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It really bothers me that when you google this store,the review which first meets your eyes is from a mega rant written a year ago by a guy who didn't have a good experience,
Compared to just about every other comic book store I've set foot in over my years of being a fan of graphic novels, my first experience at this store and every subsequent visit were stellar. It's organized and clean and inviting with comfortable chairs, plenty of natural light and a laid back welcoming atmosphere. Inquiries are promptly and thoroughly accomodated. Recommendations are carefully on point.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the customer service. In fact, if you get told something, such as"don't put the comics back, please, just let me do it," or "pllease don't bend that, it's valuable," how hard is it to listen and cooperate? Show respect for the merchandise; simple.
Be decent and you will be treated decently. Also, both the guys who work there go above and beyond to help you find what you're looking for.
ZERO complaints here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't let the small interior fool you: Menard Comics is a great store with awesome staff. I enjoyed sharing "gamer war stories" and if I lived in Canada instead of VT it'd easily be one of my go-to spots for games and accessories just because of how cool they are!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to say, I’ve been to Menard Comics a few times and it is by far the best shop there is. Small operation with ALOT of potential. Been around for a few years in a hidden spot but JAM PACKED with LOADS of stuff for everyone. From comics to board games to trading card games. From amateurs to collectors I swear this place is beyond amazing. I’ve been lucky enough to run into the owner both times I’ve gone and the way he runs his shop is admirable. His mission is to take care of his customers. That’s what comes first. He is great at developing a relationship with you and making you feel welcome in his shop. Not only that, but the few times I’ve gone I noticed that the owner has brought together a community that feels free to express themselves in his shop. They even organize tournaments with lineups out the door, I swear I was blown away. Covid isn’t easy for everyone, but he found a way to make it work. I’ve also had the pleasure of speaking with his employee on the phone and I promise, customer service level A1. This isn’t a biased review. This isn’t a freebie. This is an absolute testament to the extremely positive experiences I’ve had with this shop, and I am not afraid to tell other people about it because I do believe that Menard Comics should be one of the top shops in Greater Montreal /Laval/South Shore and I feel that everyone can benefit from going to this place. Absolute gem of an establishment, with superb staff, fair prices and a booming community. Thank you Menard Comics for all your help over our last encounters and I sincerely look forward to coming and buy from you soon.
