★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So I used to go to this salon often, for eyebrow waxes which were usually very good.
Although one time I decided I wanted to get streaks/highlights. So I went to this place, I made an appointment & was even a few minutes early and they closed! A few days later I went back & spoke with a woman named Maria, she asked me what I wanted. I told her I was interested in streaks,(Black ones in Blonde hair.) She didn't speak very good English I suppose. Because she dyed my whole head black, not only was it not what I wanted but the dye was coming out for a week!Also when I looked in the mirror I saw it all dyed, I freaked out a little asked what color, she said "medium brown". Woman my hair is black , you are supposed to listen to your customers, & making me pay the price of what I wanted for something I didn't want.

I have been going back to the same hairdresser and i really like the haircut I get. In fact I find it professional and to the point. You ask the barber what you want he delivers it.
The barber is a good and professional barber.

My first review as you can read in the following was not positive. Now I think I know exactly why; 1. I have sensitive skin. 2. I had different experience at previous location. 3. I was under influence of major trauma. 4. I was new to Winnipeg and the air was drier than Toronto. So if you factor all abovementioned conditions you would understand why my comment sounds negative but I am not going to remove the comment so you would understand that even you could have negative view but if you give time and chance, you will find the positive experience.
I have cuts and bruises on my face from the shave! There are leftover hair on my face.
The haircut is not good either. After haircut I had hair all over my shirt and my body that I had to take a shower!
On top of these, he charged me 40 dollars for a simple haircut and shave. I wish there was a sign somewhere in his shop so i would have known about it.
Unfortunately he delivered a sloppy job. Sorry!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to this hairdresser for about 2 years now. I never experienced any major problems with him. You can call ahead for an appointment later the same day or just walk in as well if you need a quick cut. He's professional and he is very friendly. Before I went to him for the first time I tried about 3-4 other salons, but was never satisfied as I was with him finally. Try him out, you won't regret it!

He has been cutting my hair for over 50 years and I and to keep it that way as long as possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in to get a cut from gerry like I have been for years and come to find out he's pretty much retired. There was a new guy looking after gerrys customers so I decided why not. Got a great haircut at a good price. The guy knows what he's doing. I didn't catch his name but I'll continue seeing him
