Terrible place to live I’ve been here 6 months with a terrible landlord very a lot of unsafe activity at night. Would never recommend

Currently paying $1000 per month for 2 bedroom with outdoor parking space. Good but not great for the price. PROS: - 2 minutes walk from LRT - daycare, pool, school, shops restaurants and grocery all within 10 minutes walk. - good staff CONS: -Security is okay but there has been some crime. -Building and apartments show their age even with renovations. - Painting was done very poorly with paint on doors and lighting fixtures. - louder neighborhood with children playing - No AC - smoking allowed but not marijuana - laundry rooms only have 1 washer and charges $4.50 for a wash and dry (small loads)

One of the easiest places to move into ever. Requirements are strict but simple and they provide links for each requirement ie renters insurance, utilities etc. Very personable and responsive staff. Excellent yard and suite maintenance.

The staff in the office are very sweet and friendly. I appreciate how dedicated they are to keeping their tenants happy.

What a welcoming place to live! Maria in the office is amazing, non-judgmental, helpful, funny (I love a good sense of humor as I have one too! ?) and was really good at getting back to is asap if we had any questions/concerns. Our apartment was soooo nice and clean when we moved in, the maintenance staff did a great job! We are a little older ? with some health issues and one of our new neighbors saw us and rushed right down to help us. They are very nice people! We've met a couple of our other neighbors too and everyone is so nice. We LOVE our new home! We are blessed!

I love this area and management has helped us deal with everything which was great Sharon is a fantastic person I'm impressed with her ☺️ we really love the great neighbours in our building such a pleasant place to be now that we have had our problem dealt with I'm sure things will be peaceful and relaxing which is all I want is a nice family atmosphere and great people around with animals ? ? thanks to management for helping us deal with our problem your the best appreciate the management team in the office thanks for your help also !

Staff and maintenance make me feel like a dummy all the time! Repair requests are not taken seriously! Lots of loud foreign neighbours, no so called security onsite to okay referee to loud, obnoxious tenants from other countries. Too cheap to hire contractors for proper water and heating damages occurring from no or little maintenance. Black mold in many suites! Not very suitable for decent people who expect and need a good apartment to call home. Seems the office staff make up tiles and regulations as you go along in your signed one year lease. Many illegal snd improper essential needs not met by maintenance like, steady water temperature in my shower. I can feel the temperature change when a laundry washing machine changes cycles! Not very acceptable, sub-standard upkeep of building. Old plug-in need changing out a newer one, that work, without a power bar. Heating continues to be very cold, goes off whenever you really need it. Then, if you do not tweak the thermostat control, your stick without heat for many hours. Maintenance staff and crews from other sites go not hold professional tickets or are qualified to even do maintenance according to Alberta Apprenticeship Board and Alberta Landlord snd Yemeni Board, newly named Community Services! Considered slum-lords snd I have personally had a any snd big infestations from lack of maintaining the grounds, window and balcony or, deck areas. Office staff insist on buying apartment insurance to avoid any chance of being liable for damages, no repairing and replacement of older appliances they say thst are doing good. znany of them barely work, if at all. My refrigerator snd plug in had yo be replaced only because I insisted and threatened landlord and tenement board and Alberta health and safety inspections officer on maintenance and office staff. I do not recommend the rental of these apartments. There is no more tennis court, the swimming pool is more broken down than not because of lack of regular repairs snd testing of chlorine warm waters in pool. I have gotten bitten by red ant bites as the maintenance building was being built. I really have to doubt if they office staff and maintenance staff even had proper contracts to build the maintenance building at all. Not very well maintained laundry facilities for each building. Only one washing machine snd two drying machines for ywelve apartments. No rinsing sink, even though lines are their, waiting on another washing machine for all years I’ve lived here. BoardWalk must have lots of pay yo pay their staff but fo not care or take pride in their buildings or maintain them properly. Lots of vagrants, criminals in area. Office snd managers idea was to double lock entrance making it very difficult to enter all the buildings, especially in the cold, awful winter weather when you get deliveries or have a visitor. I do not think the way these are managed snd operated is very good at all. Very unsatisfied at the painting lies zi was told about when I signed my lease agreement, God forbid of you live in subsidized rental like this. It seems like a real problem for this uneducated office staff to treat and talk down to their tenants and not very customer orientated. Very disgusted and unsatisfactory leases, staff, rules and regulations to sign that seem like a real joke.

I've been living at this family friendly complex for almost a year now and have nothing but great things to say. The maintenance staff keep the outside area clean, be it snow removal or the odd garbage that finds itself on the grass. The leasing office staff have helped me on several occasions and even went out of their way to ensure I got a spare set of keys when I forgot mine at work (I take public transportation, saved my sanity on this one). Not to mention, they barely charged me anything the 2 times I lost my laundry key. They were always helpful and never made it seem like I was a bother. If I was not moving out of the country for work I would have stayed for another year. Not to mention, it is hard to find a place where you can bring your dog and also have a big field to play fetch in. Thanks for the service from beginning to end to the entire team. Also, saving hundreds on my telus cable and internet bill was appreciated as well!
