Quiet place in the afternoon. I would wish for a couple of picnic tables for day use - if there is I didn't see it. There is a public bathroom available. The park is accessible from highway 1. Very near to shops. I saw ducks freely roaming around the pond but no turtles. Park is maintained. Overall ordinary peaceful park with nice mountain scenery.
