About MCG Career College
Monika’s passion for health and wellness began at an early age and the concept of lifelong learning was instilled in her soul from the passion her father showed for education.
While studying to receive her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S) degree with a specialization in Panchkarma in India, she learned that Ayurvedic Medicine teaches us that our physical health and wellbeing is deeply connected to our mental and spiritual health and wellbeing. These principles and concepts were something that resonated with her deeply and she dedicated her life to bringing these learnings to more people around the world.
When she came to Canada, Monika brought this holistic approach to Calgary and was the founder of one of Calgary’s first Ayurvedic spas. Her passion for education led to the creation of MCG Career College, where her vision is to apply these ideas to elevating health and wellness training programs and extending them into the lives of students. She is a strong believer in the power of education and its ability to change the life of a person, their family and the community for the better.
Monika is focused on enabling every member of the community the opportunity to learn a skill, to build a business and earn a living for their families — all through education and training. In the future, Monika hopes to continue growing the offerings at MCG Career College and providing students with opportunities of continued growth and success.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am currently in the DMS program and close to finishing up first semester. The instructors are outstanding. We are a small group and get access to what feels like a world of knowledge. Elio, Val and Mandy have all been the best. Faye was very helpful in getting me aligned when I applied to the program and continues to support us with any administrative advice.
DMS is loaded with an abundance of knowledge and with the support of our instructors, that stress is put at ease. We started scanning in the second week of classes and although being very nervous, they are there to guide us and help us through every step of the way. They do not make you feel incompetent and they buckle you up with the skills to be successful. They are easily accessible, engaged and show us that they truly care and want us to do well. I highly recommend this school because student success is their top priority.

They are very knowledgeable and have years of experience in scanning. They are very supportive. They work hard to make us successful in our new career. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm attending Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at MCG Career College and I'm very happy with the program. The environment in the College is very positive and I love communication with the Instructors and administrative staff. Did I mentioned that we have awesome instructors? Our lead Instructor Val is like a mom to us, we can ask her anything and we always will be listen. With the hands on with scanning Mandy has plenty of experience and gives all her knowledge to us, I really love it. I never liked Physics, but our Instructor Elio makes us to fell in love with the subject, as it is very important in Sonography. For the first time in my life I can say that I don't hate Physics. Huge thank you to all Instructors and administrative staff - Faye for making our dream to come true.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am currently on my first semester in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program and so far I am enjoying it. The teachers are very knowledgeable and have years of technical experience as sonographers. My most favourite subject is Scanning Fundamentals. Students are given enough time to do hands-on scanning using these advanced ultrasound machines! It's amazing! I am already looking forward to the next semester. I highly recommend MCG Career College.

They truly make it their duty to ensure we are successful. Mandy will never fail to make you laugh, Val will make you feel like you are at home, and Elio will go out of his way to make the most complex theories feel conquered. My favourite part has been the opportunity to practice scanning with advanced instruments. The amount of resources and support this school has to offer is definitely one of a kind. I would recommend MCG to all those looking to expand their careers!

MCG has given me the opportunity to get the career of my dreams while still being available for my busy life. The program format is well put together and easy to understand. I recommend this school and their programs to everyone.

The application process and communicating with Faye was very helpful. Now that I am in classes, my Instructors Val, Elio and Mandy are amazing. They each have a different teaching approach that works so well all together, you really feel like you will have the knowledge, techniques and personal skills to be successful in this career. I really do feel because of the small class size, all of us students work as a team and work so well with the instructors. The blended form of online and in class gives you the opportunity to organize your personal life and studies in a well balanced method.
