β β β β β I came in with my girlfriend, as her car had a slow leak in the left rear tire. Came in about 4:15 and left a half hour later all fixed up. They do close at 5. While there we checked the oil- change price and we will be back!

β β β β β BEWARE THESE GUYS ARE SHADY. Only came here for oil changes in the past and now I know why. These guys are scammers and tried to take advantage of me. don't waste your time here. They don't know what they're doing, until they leave you with no car and a $700 bill minutes before they close. Thinking you're desperate and will pay it just to get your car back. I gave them a working car that no longer started when they were done with it. Testing for them means putting in parts and charging you labour to do it without your consent. Not many are brave enough to tell them they're wrong and to take all the parts out and tow your car to an honest mechanic. Still paid them for the oil change, but won't ever bring my car back to them or send referrals there.

I started going to McDonald's Service center initially for emissions and safeties as it is right near Service Ontario at Dixie and Dundas.
The team here is great, I can usually get an appointment within a few days and the work is always top notch.
At the moment McDonald's take care of my families 2 vehicles, 3 of my siblings as well as my parents. Overall we are quite happy and would recommend it as an honest and efficient mechanic garage.

β β β β β Great place for car repairs. Mark is a fantastic mechanic. Did a pre-purchase inspection and also the certification. Quick and always quality work. May seem busy, but all good shops are, for a reason. And reasonable prices versus other shops!

β β β β β After bringing my own business, plus family members and friends to this business in the past, I can confidently say do not use this business.
Most recent 3 visits were to get them to fix an issue with their own installation of my muffler. Chris of former Midas fame seemingly left his skills there when he came here. He realigned my muffler with a blowtorch and crowbar, it still hit the frame. Multiple visits to fix this same issue resulted in no fix, plus new holes in the muffler piping.
Went to another vendor, who showed me the shabby work, and amazingly fixed it for FREE in 10 minutes.
A few visits ago, for an oil change and tire rotation, I noticed the tires hadn't been rotated. Turned out one gent rotated them, then another one during the same visit also rotated them, and so I got to visit again to have them re-rotated despite their assurances it had been done, despite the glaring difference in tire wear from front to back.
I will never return to McDonald's again, which I'm very surprised to say because they were my go-to for mechanic work for over a decade, however the owner clearly doesn't care if you bring your business to him or not, so I'd suggest don't. I am not one to even bother writing reviews, but I'd like others to know, there are better mechanics out there, who care about your business and honor an appointment when you make one.
