★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a small car accident recently and chose Maxeme Auto because of the very positive reviews on the internet and on the Facebook Taiwanese group.
It turned out to be a mistake and I will not use their service again. It was not professional in my opinion because they didn’t check the car condition thoroughly after the collision in the first place and only told ICBC that the front left has been damaged. But the steering and alignment were clearly damaged as well and I have specifically told ICBC about this when reporting the claim over the phone.
They drove the car back to the house and informed me that it is done and that they didn’t fix the alignment because ICBC did not approve that to be fixed. I was suspicious because it doesn’t make sense that ICBC will disapprove what could have very likely been damaged in the collision.
So I contacted ICBC again, they were shocked and was not happy to know that they said this to me and told me that they lied directly to my face because the problem with the alignment and steering were not on the original job sheet so there is nothing for them to approve of and they wanted the name of whoever told me that.
If the garage had told me that it’s an error or something that they’ve missed from the beginning, I would have been fine with it. What I cannot tolerate is that they lied, and that is a big problem in the auto repair business - trust even though they did do an OK job fixing the auto body.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My car was showing check engine sign, so I brought it into the shop, the owner Kent checked my car with the computer and took it for a drive and the computer couldn’t find the problem, but eventually his technicians found that the problem was a loose gas cap which he replaced it with a new one and he also gave me a discount from the original quoted price. I will definitely be bringing my car back here for regular maintenance.

Very great full that I got courtesy car so I can still drive around and work (I am in Sales). Picked up my car up couple days later (weekend and Chinese New Year), my car was vacuumed, cleaned washed; I am very pleased to received such outstanding service. The owner is super nice and the receptionist lady is nice too. Giving this place a 5-star review and will send all my friends here too!
