N	Nikola Risteski on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't know how they get the title " BUILDER OF THE YEAR " when they can't fix leak for over 2 years now. Buyers be aware don't buy from Mattamy. After 2 years they telling me they have nothing to do with that because last time when it leak we had the ice storm and I have to clean the ice from the balcony (at 1am middle of an ice storm) so I don't have water coming in from the bottom of the door and prevent the leak in my garage and leaving room. My next door neighbor had the same issue and couple of other houses, and the worsed is that we got the same email from the customer care manager. This matter would be taken further.
S	Shaheer Aziz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish there was a way to post 0 stars here. We have bought homes from other builders such as Great Gulf who have phenomenal customer service and professionalism. Mattamy on the other hand is far from professional and does not concern themselves with customer care. It started with first incorrectly overcharging us $25,000 on the purchase agreement which was later corrected after they determined an issue with their system (make sure you do your own math at the design centre) and then to top it off there is a green Transformer box in front of the door of the property we purchased. We bought the property prior to any work by the city so we had no way of knowing the green box would be there. We were okay with taking the risk that a utility transformer box could be on our property but to have it placed in a manner that completely disregards the home owners value is very disappointing. This was even more disappointing as we had paid a premium for the lot. Customer service was not interested in assisting and just reminded us to read our contract. I would recommend if you have to buy a home from them, I would make sure that the utility boxes have been placed already or ideally would recommend you go to another builder who is willing to provide this information upfront. #MyMattamy
J	J on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Doing touchups and warranty repairs with Mattamy has been the most frustrating experience I've ever had with any builder. They drag things on and on, literally one baby step at a time. We send them the items that needs to be fixed, first time the guy comes and they can't repair anything as he's not qualified to do any of the work. We'll literally have contractors come in 6 times through 4 months to just fix two issues. During Covid, you would expect Mattamy to be more efficient to finish the job but this is brutal. I understand now why they have such low ratings on Google.

I’m very happy with the product as well as the experience from the sales office, to the design studio, construction and closing. The assistant builders, Yusuf and Paul were excellent; spent the time to update me throughout the construction progress. My design consultant, Tiffany brand was extremely professional and made excellent recommendations. The customer care team, kanika, tanya, have been very responsive. I had very minor issues, one was with my garage door opener. I ran into the builder, Wendell, who came to work on a Saturday and he got someone on his team to resolve my issue on the spot. I would definitely recommend Mattamy to my friends.
M	Maor Sandler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mattamy homes built my condo building about 5 years ago, yesterday (after experiencing my kitchen sink blockage) I called a plumber. He said for Mattamy to deliver the kitchen with the way the pipes are installed is completely negligent. They sloped the pipe into my kitchen instead of sloping away from my kitchen, and in 32 years of being a plumber he’s never seen anything like it. After complaining to my property manager, David Walker from deficiencies at Mattamy Homes came by and refused to take any ownership of the issue because I had a garburator installed. The garburator has nothing to do with the way the pipe is coming out of the main stack, this was even confirmed by the plumber. I am disgusted by this company’s build quality, negligence in delivering my unit to me with the plumbing work the way it is, and absolutely no willingness to admit their mistakes and take ownership. I have contacted Mattamy and emailed customer care with no reply. If this matter isn’t rectified, I will have my lawyer involved. Do not buy from this company. You will be doing yourself a disservice buying a house or condo from Mattamy Homes.
A	Amanda C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have owned 3 new town homes. One in 2017,2019 and today. I have never ever experienced noise from neighbours like I have now. The houses cost so much yet they are built so cheaply ? I’ve complained so much , I don’t think it’s properly insulated because there is no way I should have to hear chairs sliding on a floor and simple walking. It’s constant all day everyday and I have a baby who can’t sleep. Sadly after a year I will be selling and I won’t buy a Mattamy ever again. To not be able enjoy being in the comfort of my own home and feeling as if someone is in my home other than me is scary. The basment as well it sounds like someone is walking upstairs. My shelves rattle from the noise. I feel robbed of my money… these towns are almost at a million yet are not even worth that in regards to the quality. I know during Covid they also had to get the homes up as fast as they could … just terrible super upset and I’ve even spoken to the town and they said they did it to “ code “ which is the bare minimum to me I actually had to sell the home irs been so bad and I move out in a few months. Not being able to have my daughter sleep because the noise is so bad is beyond me. I shouldn’t have to live like this in a house I own

This is the most frustrating experience I have ever had to endure in my lifetime. Poor workmanship, terrible communication, and a overall poor product. It is VERY apparent this builder does not have any quality control practices based on the product they delivered to me on closing day. Once we closed the home, is was a battle trying to establish communication (and still is) to resolve the hundreds of deficiencies. It is very apparent that this company and it's executives simply don't care. Numerous attempts at escalation to executives resulted in damage control and promises that went completely unfulfilled. Mattamy Homes should be held responsible for the burden they place on their paying customers. This has been, and continues to be a nightmare. Shame on you Mattamy Homes. I will never recommend this builder. Think twice before you consider this home builder for what may be the largest purchase of your life. Extremely disappointed.
A	Allan Perdomo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mattamy homes Phoenix. I’m not happy with the communication between the people in charge of the build and myself the buyer. For the money I spent on this home I would think they would have put better craftsmanship into the home. My dishwasher was not working properly from the day we did our first walk through I was told it would get fixed and now no one has a clue who is going to fix the dishwasher along with the other items that the inspector found wrong. I keep writing emails and calling and keep getting the run around. Im going to start filling away emails to keep log of everything that need to be fix and have not done so yet. Insulation is not what they claimed it was, air ducts are riding heat vents potentially a fire hazard I have pictures of everything that needs to be fixed and so does the builders and still have not seen any improvement. I don’t recommend Mattamy homes to anyone. Look into other builders in the area. My next step is to contact corporate office and see what they have to say.
