★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great prices, tried to buy a tapped drink but they were broken, ended up getting canned instead, gave us complimentary cards to make up for it! Definetly coming back! Fantastic customer service and waitress was a sweetheart.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely beautiful interior. Staff are friendly and alert, and food is served promptly. Acai bowls are delicious. Don't know what's up with all the yerba mate on the island, but Mateada has a unique take on it in the form of a Latte, among other things.

The space is a tremendous collection of beautiful and thoughtful details made by many local craftspeople and the food is delicious, creative and healthy. Grateful for all the folks behind this space who helped bring some much needed food and music creativity to the community.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a gem! Love the ambience of this place and all the decor. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the service was great.
My husband and I could not decide between the Nitro Mate flight and Kombucha flight, so the waitress offered to do a fusion of the two, which was the best of both worlds as we got to try both. The food was very good as well. Fresh and full of flavours. We will definitely visit this place again. If you are visiting Salt Spring Island, this place pretty much sums up the whole vibe of SSI. Highly recommended for a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ “A legitimate experience” my husband says after visiting the Mateada. Meticulously designed with local artisans. World class cocktails. And fun and entertaining live music! We enjoyed it so much on Friday night that we went back again on Saturday. You have to go here!
