Good Italian pizza, friendly staff. The charcoal pizza was good but nothing special - didn’t taste anything different in the dough - was excited for more.

Loved the thin crust pizzas (11' create your own)--the ingredients were fresh and the pizza had just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Good service and overall a pleasant dining experience. Would definitely visit again!

I believe this was a full service restaurant specializing in Carbone pizza - carbone referring to the activated charcoal added to the dough that makes the crust airier, easier to digest and distinctively black in colour. Once Pizza Nova took over you got the regular Pizza Nova offerings while retaining the Masseria option of wood-fired Carbone pizzas. Best of both worlds when you're visiting right at opening time at 11 am on a Sunday with 3 kids in primary school. The kids ate their cheese and pepperoni Pizza Nova slices. The grownups shared a Crudo pizza (tomato sauce, mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula) with the thin Carbone crust. Similarly you get the regular Pizza Nova drink offerings with Masseria alcohol options like wine and beer. The wedges we ordered were super fresh (we were the 2nd customers there) with a lovely thin crust and perfectly cooked potato interior. The cheese garlic bread was lovely as well. We appreciated the basil plants at every table so that you can pluck of a leaf (or lots of leaves) to garnish your food with a fresh punch of basil flavour. There are also a collection of spice shakers, each with a different dried herb...a few green ones like parsley, etc. and also including hot pepper flakes, dried garlic granules and salt. Also available is a bottle of EVOO if you wanted to add that to finish your pizza off with a little more yum. The only drawbacks were the stairs leading to the 2nd storey restaurant making this restaurant not friendly for those with mobility issues and the less than clean smelling restrooms. Otherwise, thumbs up!

Upscale pizza Nova. Their thin crust pizzas are very good. There is fresh basil to add onto the pizzas at every table. The space is very large and comfortable. My family enjoyed the food very much. Only issue I can tell is accessibility, there are a set of stairs that lead to the restaurant.

Very nice pizzeria, slightly hidden from street view as a pedestrian but offers gorgeous floor to ceiling views of King street. Authentic Neopolitan pizza with a twist: carbon (activated charcoal) dough. Try the diavola pizza if you love spice. If you visit at lunch, the unadvertised deal is $15 for any pizza and side salad - very much worth it!

Great place for a quick bite in. Love this Southern Italian pizza hub. Their pizza gets ready in less than 10 mins. Plus a good variety of food. Good food and great ambience. Their must try are Boscaiolo pizza and Nutella pizza. Really heart warming service provided by them. And one thing you will not get anywhere else is their Black Charcoal Dough.

Got the italian Trio and the veal sandwich 10 BBQ wings arugala salad and a 11 inch fired pizza with soprassata. BBQ wings were ok everything else was fresh and amazing. Prices were fair and the fired pizza was worth the extra money that god they are closed to my work new favorite spot.

Pizza Nova ruined what sadly was one of my favourite pizza restaurants. Back when I first came here, it was the best funghi pizza I had ever had, and the chef, staff, everyone - was so helpful and friendly. I gave it 5 stars because I loved it so much, and when we came back, gone were the good wines, care, and craftsmanship. What replaced it was boiler-plate pizza, made quickly and served with service I expect from Pizza Pizza, not here. That genuinely saddens me, I’ll go elsewhere next time - don’t make the same mistake.
