I purchased a Chevy Trax from Marquis Automotive a little over a month ago. I was a first-time car buyer and was beyond overwhelmed with all the components that come with first-time car choosing and buying. When I came across this vehicle at Marquis, I contacted them right away. Eric was incredible. He understood my position and took the reins of ensuring I got this vehicle. He stayed in constant communication with me, sent me pictures upon my request, got the vehicle certified, and had the vehicle delivered to me with a free at-home test drive before having to pay for it. Alongside this, he never even asked for a deposit to hold the vehicle. I was beyond grateful for Eric and pleased with the experience. However, two weeks after owning the vehicle, I started noticing problems with the way the vehicle ran. I immediately contacted Eric and due to my distance from his shop decided to take it to my local Chevy dealership. Upon their inspection, they told me “Marquis Automotive put a band-aid over some much-needed work and just made the vehicle run”. This made my stomach drop. Luckily, I was still within the 30-day warranty time period. We learned that the vehicle should not have passed safety and that it would cost almost $1700 worth of work to make it safe to drive. The dealership spoke to Eric directly and thankfully Eric paid for the work it needed. I am truly pleased with my experience but was ticked to have had to deal with this only two weeks after having the vehicle through no fault of my own. Everything that was wrong with it had to do with safety. My advice is to have your local dealership inspect the car you wish to buy from this dealership first, just to be on the safe side.

I cannot recommend Eric enough if you are looking for an honest car dealer that will work really hard to find you the exact car that you need at reasonable pricing. He doesn't just sell you a car, he forges relationships with his customers and stands behind the vehicles he sells them. I have now purchased 2 used cars from Eric and I'm sure there will be more in the future. He makes the process as simple and easy as possible, shielding you from the chaos that often goes along with buying a used car. I can trust that any car he has on his lot is not going to turn into a money pit because he vets the cars carefully to ensure reliability and safety. I won't even bother trying to find a used car anywhere else. Being able to trust Eric is everything when making such a big purchase!
