There's a week grace period before you can cancel your year membership and I cancelled in 1 day. Now It's been a over a month and I still haven't received a refund. I have contacted the owner multiple times and he says he will get on it but hasn't to this day. Please beware of this gyms refund process as there doesn't seem to be any. UPDATE: The owners still refused to give me a refund to this day. After seeing the above review, I was told I would not be receveing a refund. Then they said they could provide me cheque, only if I remove the above review. I did not remove my review as you can see and had to dispute this with my bank. Do not not go to this gym, very unprofessional and childish owners.
J	Jack Chen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been going here for yrs now. It's an alright gym to get your training in and meet cool people. With that being said, they could definitely do a better job with equipping the gym with more barbells since there's not enough per rack and most are bent. The men's changeroom/washroom also needs a ventilation system since the whole changeroom always stinks and makes it unbreathable when someone goes number 2. These are some things I hope the owner can take a look at and improve.

This is the friendliest gym I’ve ever been to, people really encourage one another! A game changer for me. Chris and Diana, the owners , welcome all customers as they come through the door daily! This is so rare. I’ve been personal training with Sandra Marino for two years. I love her enthusiasm & commitment to Fitness! Sandra keeps me motivated and accountable. Working one on one with a personal trainer has helped me tone safely…& injury free! Learning how to use the the machines at first was intimidating. Now, I know my way around the large floor of equipment and I have confidence using it all. Sandra sends me personal encouragement and notes through the week and even notices when I come in to do cardio! Markville Fitness has a real great vibe! There’s no gym like it!

We have fun, but she makes sure I have a great workout. Keeps me inspired for the following week. Come check it out for yourself.
H	Honest Customer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We joined this gym a day before the pandemic forced them to close against my better judgement but the owner offered us extended usage and seemed like a good start in a new regime, however this place with filthy. Layers of dust on equipment, studio room were gross, washrooms had sewage issues, pretty nasty. Regardless, we support local businesses. Pandemic forced them to close however upon reopening required patrons to be vaccinated to use the facility. This was not an option for us to have the vaccine however, we waited until the mandate expired. Trying to resume our membership were informed and confirmed by the owner this will NOT be reinstated since the club had opened earlier and we were to use the space at that time. After explaining our own experiences HE (the owner plus his worker) couldn't be bothered to honour their contract. Who the hell is he to tell us when and how to use our membership, especially with what's happening in the world? Disgusting behaviour to say the least. If you want a clean place with updated equipment and not a greedy money-hungry mongrel as a business owner, try GoodLife, Anytime or ANYWHERE ELSE that has professional business practices. It's a poor excuse for local business owners and since then, I would be more than happy to share pictures of this poorly run, dirty facility. This has no reflection on the staff. What goes around comes around I hope the owner gets taken advantage of twofold for his actions towards those a little older and cautious and his money can't buy back he health and respect.

It is a true gym. Inviting, clean and worth it. Chris and Diane own the place and are always there to communicate help and direct. Good times!!

A	Alex “Lozo” Lozowskij on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Solid family run gym, maybe not as aesthetically pleasing as others but it's a great place to pump some iron and go about your day. Also they offer yoga classes as part of the membership which is an added bonus! Happy to renew my membership for next year.
