I have notice that some of the employees are lacking of expertise when it comes to public relations. I felt bad when someone started to interrogate me about a 2 for a $1.00 sign, there should be way to do it , especially there many people around.

Absolutely appalled at the consistently poor service at the cash. I have not seen such incompetence, sheer disrespect and lack of professionalism in years. There is one cashier in particular to which I attribute this experience; on 3 separate occasions, this cashier ignores the line at the cash, leaves to talk with other employees for minutes, as the line increases. She ignores every customer, is rude, punches in the wrong items and then argues with the client. I ask repeatedly for a bag, to which she ignores. I ask for an item behind the counter, she brings the wrong one everytime and argues that I am wrong, until she finally finds what I clearly requested. I was patient and asked if she would rather I go to another cash, to which she says yes and then leaves, with all my items having already been placed down. I was forced to take my entire cart of items from the counter and bring it to another cash, and wait another 10 minutes. This happened on 3 occasions. I am taking my business elsewhere, permanently.

I used to go there occasionally before the pandemic to buy the Banh Mi Sandwiches, as they were known to be the cheapest ones, but they don't do them anymore. The place is small with tight alleys and can be crowded because of the residential zone in the area and it's a one minute walk from Montreal's Plamondon Metro station Northern exit. Still a good & inexpensive Asian grocery store, just make sure to look carefully at the foods expiration dates.
