Convenient place to buy some Asian grocery, their sauces and dry goods are good, vegetables a bit pricey and not too much selections, meat if you buy the daily special is cheap and you can find some interesting cut there (like bones for soup or pork belly, beef brisket and boneless beef shank), minced pork quality a bit shady at times (but it's usually less than half the price of IGA), sometimes have good fresh seafood (great live snow crab or blue crab when it's in season); razor clams are great when available, pasta clams are great there and almost never have sand, their salmon is a bit dodgy so best to stick with live seafood there

We love this goecery store, we always find nice, fun and yummy treats. Some of the stuff can be expensive but fresh stuff / veggies is a good price. Good price for big bag of rice and soy sauce.

G&D is the best place in Montreal to shop for Asian groceries. They have a little bit of everything from fresh produce, meat and fish, seafood. There's more varieties of packaged noodles than you could try in a lifetime. Plenty of ready to cook frozen items and tons of snacks and candy. Tons of instant ramen choices too. If you are cooking an Asian recipe they probably have what you need, if they don't it might be hard to find in Montreal.

Personally one of my favourite places to visit in chinatown. You can find real products such as tea or grass jelly or durian. Really fun to explore and to get a genuine idea of chinese shopping.

It’s a supermarket-sized Asian market that manages to be large and exist downtown by virtue of its subterranean location. You’ll have to make your way through the line of a popular noodle shop to get downstairs; don’t get stuck there if you want groceries! Downstairs, the place itself is on the older side and definitely leans more Chinese rather than other Asian countries—there are some Korean, Japanese, and Thai staples that they don’t stock or have a very limited selection of. Produce is not outstanding, but does appear to be fresh and they have most of the herbs and such you might be looking for, either fresh or frozen. I come here specifically because it’s the closest place to me that carries Paradis brand fake meat. I’d give it a solid 4 stars, but sadly, last time I was there, the freezer was malfunctioning and the fake meat I’d come for was half-thawed. I also picked up some hot pot soup base that ended up being expired. Still, the employees are always very pleasant and helpful. So in the end, not a bad place, but not a luxury experience either. Just plan on going to pick up mostly Chinese stuff and keep an eye on expiration dates and such.

One of my favorite Asian Market. They don't have the best prices but so have the widest variety. I never walk out of this place empty handed.

Not gonna lie, MTLBlog convinced me to go here. Found a lot of great Asian snacks and ingredients. Good selection of kit kats, soda, or instant bubble tea. Also found Japanese curry, Kewpie mayo, and a wide range of furikake.

The restaurant on the main floor smelled amazing!!! But I went there for the grocery store downstairs which has a variety of stuff that I was super happy I found. There's also so many different flavours of snacks that I'm used to seeing in stores. I had only went with my mind set on only checking out the snacks (a bit pricey).. but still I took a look at some ingredients that I'll be needing for future dishes I'll be making, not only did they have them, but they were also a better price than what I've seen before! Anyway! So happy for the variety of products!! I definitely plan on going back!! And it's close to my work, so I can easily pass by before my travels home ;)
