They have the best picanha and flank steak in town. Staff is friendly and helpful. Besides French and English, they also speak Portuguese and Spanish

An incredible butcher's with great prices and hard to find items. Ground lamb, pig's blood, and pork and beef casings. Some of these are extremely difficult to find. A true gem.

I'm giving 3 cuz after many years buying there today is the 2nd time they sell me pork spoiled meet and I found this unacceptable. 1st time was mid covid crisis and I understood, but this time is simply unjustfy, meet was hight vacuum the 2 times, so maybe as a suggestion buy it from the counter. I won't come back sadly ?

Very friendly service. Meat is premium quality and very often less expensive than supermarkets. They're always ready and happy to help you with any questions you may have. Always been satisfied with the quality of the meat. A place to go.

The best Luso-Brazilian grocery/butchery store in Montréal island. Attention brazilians: if you want "picanha", "pão de queijo", "farofa", ingredients to make a traditional brazilian "feijoada" (including: feet, ears and tail porc, frozen), "guarana", cokies and candies, you will find there! Staff very polite and ready to help you anytime.

Unfortunately this is a second time that Alim-Pôt sells me ROTTEN MEAT. 1x chicken breast (bought over the counter); 1x pork sausage (pre-packed, with the label indicating that the product was within the expiry date). This is unacceptable for a butcher shop who should be looking after their products and clients.

Very pleasant staff, very helpful in finding the meat cuts I was looking for. A bit limited in selection but for a small shop thats ok. The butcher had great recommendations based on the meat I was looking for. The cashier was chatty and really made us feel welcome. Made beef tip stew tonight and boy oh boy will I be returning for more meat! Plus everyone was very covid aware, masks on and ensuring space in aisles.

These guys are still the best, their cuts of meat are good and their prices are reasonable. In an increasingly disappointing landscape of boutique butcher shops that take themselves way to seriously, and its reflected in their prices (I'm calling you out Grinder and Prince Noir) Alim-pot is still the best. They'll cut you a great prime rib in no time, pork ribs gut some nice ones over here, bison steak, check the freezer. I think I'll stop experimenting with new shops for a bit and stick with a tried and true plateau classic. Good quality good prices and good service, at least some places still know how to do that.
