★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only person working there (the cashier) was giving dirty looks to my family, especially my mom and sister. Although he appeared very kind with the client-friend with who he was chatting and laughing, he was very rude with us. My mom were to pick a pack of soda displayed on the floor and the cashier yelled at her "DO NOT BREAK THIS." We left right after that.

I was looking for an item I used to get in Africa all the time, and while I don't fault the tiny shop for not having the item I was looking for, the lady seemed pretty inconvenienced that I interrupted her reading to ask her a question. The place had a pretty powerful smell as well, and while I'm used to that going to asian markets, it was still pretty strong.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They deserve ZERO stars. I called to inquire about a product and the lady (don’t know her name) literally yelled at me when I couldn’t hear her and was utterly disgusting. If you can purchase elsewhere, do so. These people don’t deserve your money given their deplorable customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Giving one star because I can't give zero. Not sure if I've ever encountered such bad customer service elsewhere. I visited this place months back, and it was the same lady at the cash - always so angry for no reason and irritable. I grabbed more plantains than I was allowed to because I wasn't aware there was an amount limit and she reacted like I stole something. Walked out less than 10 mins ago and never buying here again.
