I’m new in town and was told I had a long wait for a permanent GP so I had been going to the top naturopath in Victoria to address my hyper thyroid condition. I was in a lot of physical distress However this doctor spend 17 min of our 20 min appointment vibrateing with anger She ranted about how naturopaths weren’t doctors and as an ill, weak patient it was like being berated and humiliated for searching out alternative help in a province that can’t provide primary care docs in a timely manner She berated me for not swallowing right through a test and it wasn’t until the last minute where I had to ask, “ what are my numbers and what’s going on. She gave a dismissive clip response. Don’t go to her is you like on time apts , and a specialist who cares

I've been calling for weeks trying to cancel an appointment, multiple times per day, and have never once gotten an answer. I've left a message asking to be called, and was never called. I've been scheduled for a phone interview by the doctor, waited all day, and she never called. I called that day, to no response. I called multiple times in the following days to try to find out what happened and never got an answer, and was finally called back a week or so later by the receptionist who didn't acknowledge how many times I had called just trying to find out what happened and told me the doctor had decided she didn't need to check up with me. To be clear, I don't blame the receptionist. I think if this is what happens with multiple patients, well... I wouldn't be able to keep up with calls either. I've been scheduled for tests without being told, only learning of my appointments from the imaging centres the day before I was supposed to come in. I cannot believe how incredibly hard it is to get a hold of anyone - I cannot believe how incredibly frustrated I am to have to keep calling. It's not like I enjoy making these calls. I NEED to cancel my appointment and as such need to at least reach someone. I desperately want to show the good side of any person or business I review here but I struggle to find anything about my experience that was positive. My husband was very unhappy with how she treated him too but good god this review is long enough as it is. The one star can represent the receptionists who are polite and I believe are doing their best given the situation.

I met Dr. Manjoo as a young and challenging patient, with a complex health concern. Dr. Manjoo was able to diagnose an extremely rare condition, while also working with me to manage and treat it as best as possible. Her approach, attitude, sensitivity, and commitment to my health, in combination with her brilliance, are the reasons I am alive and will be able to watch my children grow. She has gone above and beyond her duties. In a sense, I feel like she has become a part of our family and she makes me feel like I am a part of hers. I have read reviews about her being disconnected at times, however if you ever feel this way, it is simply her brilliance at work. Once you understand that, you’ll see she is a rare gem.

Dr. Manjoo provides superior care and attention to her patients. I am a new patient and she has even called me personally at home several times regarding my care and treatment plan. I am looking forward to a continued successful relationship with this conscientious specialist. The office staff are friendly and welcoming and the office is efficient in preparing the patients to see Dr. Manjoo. I read up ahead of time and planned to be there for at least two hours. She was worth the wait.
