★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On rate your MDs, there are some reviews complaining of Dr. Hentschel’s beside manner. I don’t get that. I just want someone who will complete my surgery successful and Dr. Hentschel and his team went beyond that and exceeded any expectations I may have had.
My surgery was two weeks ago and I have no pain in my legs and just above; absolutely none! I already am able to take short walks without my walker.
I have severe arthritis in my back so that, of course, is still there. Dr. Hentschel was polite and straight forward. He was realistic and told me there was only a 50% that my spinal stenosis would be helped and I made the choice to have the surgery.
Here I am with no sciatic pain; what a miracle for me.
The rest of his team were great especially Marlene and the anesthesiologist; who helped with my fears about the anesthesia as I have had problems with it in the past.
Thank you for a new lease on life.

I had an original surgery with one doctor and it failed. that was a dissectomy, the pain was all encompassing and took everything I had to go to me for two years. Then I ended up an emergency unable to walk, my sciatic nerves have been pinched for a period of time but made it so that I couldn’t walk. I was rolled into ER at 7 AM on a Saturday morning and thank God Dr. Hentschel happen to be the doctor on call that morning. He didn’t go into my surgery very optimistic but he didn’t leave my wife and daughter with very optimistic thoughts but the man worked miracles and performed in laminaectamy which I’m happy to say two years later how do you continue to work in allows me to live a normal life pain-free I will be forever grateful for the work that man did
