β β β β β I have an suv that I found rust holes in the frame and the sub frame is rusted out with many holes while it was still saftied and all MPI said was that I have to fix it within x amount of time or its no longer insurable until its fixed on my own dime. Only thing they can do is send someone to see how the repair shops works. What an awful place to have to deal with. If you have any problems after buying a car, even if its saftied, MPI will do absolutely nothing to help. Watch as the let Abbeys auto service in Winnipeg walk about with nothing but a slap of the wrist for neglecting to safety a vehicle. We seriously need to privatize this sector so we can actually get results when repair shops do things like this.
