★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was terrible. About service. They don’t hesitated to charge that fee, not fixing broken boat. When we got there, lady said, 1 rowboat is already rented by someone. Another two are broken, basically you can’t attach the long peddles to the boat, so you can’t move the boat. “But it’s not the problem” lady told us. “We’ll give you small hand paddles, for the same price. It’ll be even easier for you to move the boat”. I said “it’ll be very slow, though”. She said “well.... yeah...” (smile).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to rent a canoe or kayak. The views are beautiful, waters calm, and the boats are of good quality. Much better choice than places like Lake Louise that cost 2x as much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ CRAZY PRICES TERRIBLE BOATS
We rented a Row Boat for the full day. It was sunny and not windy but despite of this it was impossible to drive the boat straight considering that they gave us two rows of different lengths and weights. We didn't receive any type of instruction on how to properly ride the boat and when we asked for explanations we were treated with no respect. We were said that it was our problem if we weren't able to properly ride their boat (which was old, noisy and dirty). We paid 210$ for a non functioning old boat. There is other rentals on the same lake, they are very likely to be a better option.

Abbiamo noleggiato una barca a remi al prezzo di 210 dollari (142€!) per l'intera giornata. La barca era vecchia, sporca e rumorosa. Ci hanno fornito due remi di lunghezza e peso diversi e nonostante i mille tentativi la barca non ne voleva sapere di muoversi dritta. Siamo stati trattati come se il problema dipendesse da noi nonostante la barca fosse palesemente difettosa. Consiglierei di provare uno degli altri rental presenti sullo stesso lago.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We managed to get a canoe early in the morning without reserving. What a great few hours on the lake we had. The price is pretty steep, but it is very worth it. The staff were very friendly. A great thing to do on your holiday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I finally made it back to Jasper after 23 years of waiting - early June it was a high of 8 degrees that weekend - the trout fishing was incredible we caught 22 in the first day - the wildlife and views are breathtaking and in abundance - everyone was so happy, kind and friendly on and off the water - camping in our vehicles to stay with the boat was really roughing it - it was so worth it - I cannot wait to my next opportunity to travel back - so much more of Jasper and the ice field parkway to explore! It truly is a magical place and quite different terrain than the mountains south of Calgary in kananaskiscountry and canmore/Banff - Jasper mountains are quite different
