My buddy introduced me to Maison Corbeil on Caledonia in Toronto and it was love at first sight. Variety of different styles and decor to choose from and inspire the look you want in your home. Exceptional quality and great customer service. Angela is great.

NO communication whatsoever. I guess they don't want my money. UPDATE: Thank you, kindly, MC for the response. However, I am so tired of companies spending more energy on damage control than simply doing the right thing in the first place. Someone had the time to respond to my public post within days yet over a month of me messaging your company to no avail. Once, again, thank you for the reply but I have spent (a lot of) money elsewhere.

I had high hopes since I previously purchased a several piece of furniture in my previous home with maison Corbeil in Montreal, QC. This time in Toronto not only did they have the wrong chairs shipped after waiting for 6weeks but we didn’t find out till we got to the store. Then we learned the chairs had been sitting at the store for 2 weeks (early July) but they couldn’t get a hold of me. They didn’t update my contact information even though I left all updated info with the sales person and the receptionist when I called to follow up 4 weeks after my original purchase date. We went in there to look for other options but all they said is not available until September or October 2020. Basically, they want to do nothing for us when it’s 100% their fault.

Originally, it was supposed to arrive in store in the begining of July (I ordered end of April), which was totally fine. I called them in the begining of July and they said it will not arrive until the begining of September. I did not receive any notice about this. I have now called a third time, mid September in order to give them enough leeway, and they say it will not be here until mid-end of October. I tried calling the customer service department and they do not answer. So I keep calling the Toronto store where they keep telling me that for online orders I can call the online department (which does not answer or update), or I can keep calling the store, essentially making it my problem to update myself. There is no apology and no offer of some kind of compensation for the delay. It is all being handled as if this is normal. I was going to order the Tiffany dining table and some chairs from them but I just want the couch and not to have to deal with this company again. They are not sustainable, locally produced, or anything special. Shop elsewhere and give your support to a better business.
