★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had brought my girlfriend here to look at getting a guitar and amp and other accessories. Possibly an electric drumset going forward. The service provided in the guitar section immediately made me feel ill at ease in the store. I simply picked up a guitar to look at it the clerk came over and said not to touch the guitars and made me feel bad just being in the store. Still checked the other sections and people were much nicer in the drums section and ended up thinking about a launchpad but still the initial interaction just made me not proceed with my purchase here. If I come back I hope someone will be willing to help instead of simply stating not to touch and leaving. Despite asking if we were looking for something and us saying yes and that we were looking for help with something specific he simply said not to touch and left.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely love Steve's music, they have the best instruments in all of Downtown montreal.
Customer service is a bit slow sometimes, I had to wait 1 entire month to get my guitar fixed. But other then that it is definitely a go to for any professional musicians out there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great store if you’re absolutely sure that the gear you buy won’t need service/repair.
It took 5 month to get back a mixer from repair. Poor communication (that is to say none) from their part during that time. As the gear ended up NOT repaired I asked for at least a part of my money back or a credit but no commercial gesture whatsoever was proposed.
