I bought appliances from Home Depot and the Mackie driver, whose name was Peter, and his two crew members, were very polite and accommodating during the delivery and installation of my appliances. I guess the type of service you get depends on who, is doing the delivery.

We had the most pleasant experience using Mackie Moving Canada for our move from Milton, Ontario to Grand Falls-Windsor, Nfld. From the sales person Doug Burns to the packers Brad and Tristian who made packing look so easy, really professional and so hard working, they didn't stop until the job was done. Loading of our 3 bdrm house by Tom Pack and his crew on the loading side, were just amazing, can't say enough good about all of them. When we reached our destination they had already moved all the stuff into the house, we were told by family members who were available for the movers to unload that they worked really hard. We can't say enough good about this very stressful time and they made the move a pleasant experience. We have already recommended Mackie for our other neighbors who are moving in August.

We ordered custom kitchen cabinetry to be delivered the week of Aug 12-16 from a 3rd party (Lowes) Mackie did not contact us to schedule delivery until the 16th, though they had the items in their warehouse as of the 13th. When the delivery truck arrived, one of the movers was unable to maneuver the boxes, and dropped them, damaging the cabinets MORE THAN ONCE. To his credit, the driver was apologetic & attempted to have additional people sent to help bring all pieces inside. Dispatch refused to send additional help, and advised them to place the order back on the truck, to re-schedule delivery. These are not pieces that we can replace quickly, these are custom cabinets that took 8 weeks to complete. I have attempted to reach out directly to the customer service line several times, and am immediately transferred to a voicemail box. I have left messages that have gone unanswered. The incompetence and damage is going to cost us an additional 6-8 weeks waiting for replacement pieces. To say I am disappointed and upset would be a huge understatement.

Terrible experience. Waited 3 days this week for deliveries which never came. This was an order from Home Depot for over $2000. All three days we received an appointment time in the morning however by the end of the day you had rescheduled delivery. Today is a nice Saturday spent waiting only to be told you erre missing a unit number which was on the order with our phone number. I work in the LTL business. You're customers can find better for their customers. From the other reviews here I see we're not alone. I'm dumbfounded on how badly you miss on this simple delivery 15 minutes from your terminal. You've cost us faith in your service as well as Home Depot. We're new home owners and will look elsewhere for other big appliances.

Worst delivery company I have ever dealt with in my life, and not just in Canadian standard but in the poorest third world standard. In fact I wish I can give them zero stars if possible. I ordered something from GE for my tenants and Mackie is the delivery company. I have left specific notes that they should call my tenant when arrive. Me and my tenant called the GE customer service and their customer service many times to confirm the contact number but they still called the incorrect number. They are scheduled to arrive between 1pm and 5pm but they ended up 5 hours late. The delivery guys are such jerks. They are so rude. Cannot even speak English right and they sounds just like scammers. They tried and failed three times for this delivery. In the last try, they made my tenants waited a whole afternoon and did not show up at all. We did not know the delivery guys did not load the unit in their truck in the morning until we called the customer service at 5pm that day. All these hours were wasted on a secretly cancelled delivery, which is confirmed the previous day that it will be delivered for sure. I ended up cancelled this order in frustration and it cost me a good amount of cancellation fees. In a word, this company, especially the two delivery guys I dealt with are incapable of doing such a simple labour job. They don't deserve getting paid for a penny. Their service sucked to their very core. GE should totally stop working with them.

I want to write a quick note to thank Mackie Movers for doing a great job moving the contents of our 4-bedroom house to a new location. The team of four led by Kyle showed up right on time, were very careful with our belongings and the property. The guys had a great attitude and worked really well together. They really knew what they were doing--how to maneuver heavy or large items up or downstairs, how to fit everything in the truck and how to protect fragile or large furniture. They wrapped and padded the furniture and I felt confident that our stuff was in good hands. Thank you for the good work, Mackie team! Many of the negative Google reviews are for delivery of one or two pieces of furniture or appliances from stores. If you are looking to move, you'll see the higher rated reviews are about moving to new apartments or houses. Another good moving review from me too!

I think every one on here is referring to the same set of delivery drivers in the Peel region. Recently ordered a washing machine and dishwasher from home depot. On the day of delivery no one showed for the 4 hour window that we were given. 3 hours after the expiry of the window, we receive a call from the delivery guys saying they will be there in 30-40 minutes. When we repeatedly asked them what time that would be, we were repeatedly told 30-40 minutes, an hour and a half later still no one showed up. They then turn up 5 hours after the delivery window. One guy asks us very rudely "Where do you want it". I respond saying that they are about 5 hours past the window that we received, and 3 hours after the original 30-40 minutes. The extremely rude guy shouts at me : "Dont tell me bout no time boy". I stated that he should be apologizing for being 10 hours late, upon which he burst into a tirade of rude and abusive language, using the F-word and continuously cussing at me and my wife in front of our kids. We refused to let him into the house for fear of the safety of our kids and threatened to call the police. Upon which they drove off. We have since spent hours on the phone with Home Depot and in the store with our rep. We specifically requested not to send the same delivery team again for fear of more abuse and our safety. To our absolute shock and amazement, they then send the same delivery team round and the same guy sits in his car saying he will not deliver, The other guy explains that they had to accept the delivery and show up at our house, but did not have to deliver. So a month later we are left with no washer and dryer and there is still no resolution in sight, nor delivery. If you value your safety and want to avoid being abused and sworn at, make sure to refuse delivery from these animals. They should never be in business, let alone have a contract with a reputable company like home depot. Its a shame and utterly disappointing to see the home depot name go down the drain due to this delivery company. The store has had numerous complaints about the same 2 drivers, and its a shame to see that no action has been taken to get rid of them. Picture attached.

We had a really good experience using Mackie Movers to move our two-bedroom apartment from Hamilton to Halifax. Doug and Bobbi-Jo were always really responsive to emails and phone calls and answered all of our questions. The crews that picked up and delivered our belongings were fast, careful, and professional. Everything was done right on schedule. To our surprise, the move also ended up costing us LESS than the estimate (based on final weigh-in). We did get a few substantially cheaper quotes when shopping around but none were from movers registered with the Canadian Association of Movers, which I think is an important caveat (buyer beware). Would definitely recommend!
