MacGregor Donald G Dr

Dr. MacGregor is an excellent eye doctor. However he retired in early 2018.

Unfortunately Dr MacGregor retired and Dr Karen Hoar has taken over the office. Her staff leave nothing to be desired. They are over-rated inconsiderate and self absorbed. They are typical of the quality of business employees in Duncan. Do not consider patients time or schedules. Last minute changes numerous times and inaccurate instructions, no apologizes and when arriving early act like you are bothering them. I give them a fat fail.

The practice remains open but is now in the hands of Dr McGregor's colleague/practice partner, Karen L. Hoar, MD. Dr McGregor retired in 2018.

The most useless office I have ever had the chance to go to. Never answer the phone, are closed randomly, even when you have an appointment. Slow, very very slow, shown up and 2 and don't get in until 5. But the real kicker is getting then to provide documentation to other doctors offices, ask numerous time, ensured that it's done only for it not to be. Will be filing a complaint with the college of physicians since they seem incapable of doing their job.

All the staff are so friendly and professional! They are doing such a good job during the pandemic and I feel lucky to have this clinic as an option in the valley! Anyone would be lucky to be seen here! Would give 100 stars if I could.

i could give zero stars I would. They asked me my Vax status when I came in instead if over the phone. When I asked why they needed this info, they said my appointment would be canceled. I asked what difference it makes and they told me that the doc will take different precautions to which I responded the doctor should be taking the highest precaution regardless. She told ne I was being argumentative. She then told me no medical establishment will take me in without my Vax status. I've been to the hospital for a ct, the doctor, the dentist in the last 2 months and not one has mentioned my status. She told me I was lying amd that I had called her names which was absolutely untrue. I apologized for her feeling I was being argumentative and I disclosed my Vax status. She then canceled my appointment and told me to leave. I gave her what she asked for as well as apologized after she cut me off, yelled at me, called me a liar and gave false information. She was obviously having a bad day and was power hungry. She stole my right to know what's happening in my own body although I gave her the info she asked for. There are now 2 classes of Healthcare and I guess I'm lower class. The admission to having 2 standards of Healthcare blows my mind. Her behavior was unacceptableand extremely troubling. I have diagnosed anxiety and was deeply affected by her attitude and words. I've since spoken to a lawyer as well as the human rights tribunal and am filing a human rights complaint. I've also spoken to public health amd other doctors who have confirmed that her statements were false and the treatment was horrendous.
