I believe the chef/owner is from Philippines just from the menu items and the unique cake (e.g. ube cake) it has. The lunch items are reasonably priced, good quantity and excellent flavors. The cake serves as excellent dessert after the meal. Nice bright and artistic decor inside. Can't comment on the custom made cake but would definitely come back over time to try every single menu item.

I see a lot bad reviews on their flavours and cake. I think they should close for few weeks and work on that. As far as decoration is concerned it was pretty i liked it simple. But i have atleast 3/4 cake left as we can not eat. I decided to give bad review because its my second time bad experience. Please take it positive and work on it

Their desserts have very nice presentation, my only complaint would be that their icing gets very hard and can be difficult to eat with cakes. I would definitely recommend their regular food menu. Best Filipino food in the area!

They made mine in a day also! (ALTHOUGH I did order it a full week in advance) From taste to presentation ? It was fantastic. chefs kiss my daughter was thrilled with her birthday cake. ~DEFINITELY RECOMMEND~ to everyone looking for a custom birthday cake especially that flavor. I emailed them with my cake request and customer service was quick to call me and finalize my order. Price was very reasonable for quality and size! ? ? ?

Drove all the way from Vancouver only to find out they were filming for Food Network and they were closed for that week... but that day it said it was still open. 2nd time we were lucky and I believe the owner was very nice getting us our delicious treats and halo halo. He also gave us free samples of the turon. Thank you! It was great. The turon is my new favourite. Also had the red velvet cake... perfect balance. Lyra Lou cakes hopefully down the road you guys can open a 2nd store closer to Vancouver... but until then we will come and support you guys! Mabuhay!

For me it's the tiramisu cake and the halo halo. I also enjoyed the lemon meringue tart and the strawberry cake. I haven't had a dry cake. Everything has always been fresh and moist. I don't have a picture of the leche flan but it's delicious and I always eat it before taking a picture!! The service is always friendly and I'll be back for sure.
